   (1) Open the access doors 196BB 197CB 197EB 197FB 198CB.
   (2) Open the right main door of the main landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems and put them in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system:
  • in the flight compartment near the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
  • on the ground service panels of the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems.

1.On the ground service panels of the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems:


2.Start the left engine and set the N1 RPM to 80% for not less than 60s (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
On each reservoir air pressure gage:

  • the pressure in the reservoirs increases to 50 psi (3.4474 bar).
3.Shut down the left engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
On each reservoir air pressure gage:

  • the pressure in the reservoir stays constant at 50 psi (3.4474 bar).

  • the pressure in the reservoirs increases to 50 psi (3.4474 bar).
3.Shut down the left engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
On each reservoir air pressure gage:

  • the pressure in the reservoir stays constant at 50 psi (3.4474 bar).

2.Start the left engine and set the N1 RPM to 30% for not less than 60s (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043).
On each reservoir air pressure gage:

  • the pressure in the reservoirs increases to 50 psi (3.4474 bar).
3.Shut down the left engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018).
On each reservoir air pressure gage:

  • the pressure in the reservoir stays constant at 50 psi (3.4474 bar).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the right main door of the main landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (3) Close the access doors 196BB 197CB 197EB 197FB 198CB.
   (4) Remove the warning notices from:
  • the flight compartment,
  • the ground service panels of the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
