A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is electrically grounded (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the FWD passenger/crew door 831.
(3) Open FWD passenger/crew door 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(4) On panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW P/BSW is off (the ON legend is OFF).
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(6) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle .
(7) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
(8) On panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT pushbutton switch is set to the OFF position.
(9) On overhead panel 35VU, release BAT pushbuttons switches.
(10) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 35VU to tell persons not to operate the batteries.
(11) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 800VU to tell persons not to operate the BATT POWER switch 10PR.
(12) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start ENG1 and ENG2.
(13) Disconnect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-000-001).
(14) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at aft cargo compartment door 826.
(15) Open aft cargo compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(a) If the Cargo Loading System (CLS) is installed:
(16) If the Additional Center Tank (ACT) is installed in the aft cargo compartment:

(a) If the Cargo Loading System (CLS) is installed:
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the control panel to tell persons not operate the CLS.
NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A319-A320-A321.
(b) If divider nets are installed in the cargo compartment, remove them (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-17-000-001). (16) If the Additional Center Tank (ACT) is installed in the aft cargo compartment:
- Remove the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Removal the sidewall panels:
(a) Remove panels 152DX, 152GX and 152EX between FR55 and FR57 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
4. Procedure(1) Removal the sidewall panels:
(a) Remove panels 152DX, 152GX and 152EX between FR55 and FR57 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A318.
(b) Remove panels 152FW and 152DW between FR53 and FR55A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003). NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A319.
1 Remove panels 152HW and 152JW between FR56 and FR59 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003). NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A320-A321.
2 Remove panel 162EW between FR59 and FR60 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003). NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A320-A321.

(1) Disconnect the wire (1), terminal AB connector K13 from the ECB (59KD).
(3) On the wire (1), install the PLACARD (3) with the TIE WRAP(S) (4).
(5) In rear circuit breaker panel 121VU, at position K41, disconnect the wires and remove the dummy circuit breaker (6).
(6) Install circuit breaker 1KT (5) in the circuit breaker position.

(1) Disconnect the wire (1), terminal AB connector K13 from the ECB (59KD).
- Make sure that you do not damage the wire harness when you cut the cable-ties.
(3) On the wire (1), install the PLACARD (3) with the TIE WRAP(S) (4).
NOTE: Use cable-ties as necessary.
NOTE: If an identification placard is installed on the wire because of the embodiment of SB A320-49-1080, you must remove the placard before you install the ident-placard and tie.
(4) Make sure that the wire (1) is installed without chafing. (5) In rear circuit breaker panel 121VU, at position K41, disconnect the wires and remove the dummy circuit breaker (6).
(6) Install circuit breaker 1KT (5) in the circuit breaker position.
B. Installation of the ECB
(1) Install the ECB (59KD) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-400-003).
(2) Connect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-400-001).
(a) Make sure that the label of the plug is the same as the label on the receptacle ESPM 205210.
(b) Make sure that the plug is correctly locked ESPM 205210.
Subtask 49-96-00-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the ECB (59KD) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-400-003).
(2) Connect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-400-001).
(a) Make sure that the label of the plug is the same as the label on the receptacle ESPM 205210.
(b) Make sure that the plug is correctly locked ESPM 205210.
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(5) Do the Operational Test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
(6) Do the Operational Test of the EIS (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-710-001).
(7) Do the Operational Test of the ECAM Control Panel (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-004).
(8) Do the Ground Scanning of the Central Warning System (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the aircraft is operated in CAT III condition:
- Do the Operational Test of the LAND CAT III Capability (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
(3) Do the Operational Test of the Lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-14-00-710-001).
(4) Do the Operational Check of the Avionics Equipment Ventilation-System (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-00-710-001).
(5) Do the Operational Test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
(6) Do the Operational Test of the EIS (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-710-001).
(7) Do the Operational Test of the ECAM Control Panel (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-004).
(8) Do the Ground Scanning of the Central Warning System (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels:
(a) Install access panel 162EW between FR59 and FR60 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(b) Install access panels 152HW and 152JW between FR56 and FR59 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
(4) If removed, install the divider nets in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-17-400-001).
(5) If applicable, remove the WARNING NOTICE(S) from the control panel of the Cargo Loading System.
Subtask 49-96-00-860-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels:
(a) Install access panel 162EW between FR59 and FR60 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(b) Install access panels 152HW and 152JW between FR56 and FR59 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A320-A321.
(c) Install access panels 152FW and 152DW between FR59 and FR60 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003). NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A319.
(d) Install access panels 152DX, 152GX and 152EX between FR55 and FR57 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003). NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A318.
(3) If applicable, install the ACT in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001). (4) If removed, install the divider nets in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-17-400-001).
(5) If applicable, remove the WARNING NOTICE(S) from the control panel of the Cargo Loading System.
NOTE: Only applicable for A/C A319-A320-A321.
(6) Close bulk cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008). B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Set the APU MASTER SW P/BSW to off (the ON legend goes off).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Set the APU MASTER SW P/BSW to off (the ON legend goes off).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
