A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aft cargo compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo compartment door.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
   (4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the bulk cargo-compartment door.
   (5) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
   (6) Make sure that the light switch is set to the 'ON' position.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the bulk cargo-compartment door.
   (2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the bulk cargo-compartment door.
   (4) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
   (5) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the control panel of the aft CLS to tell persons not to use it.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-55-17-910-050-A
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 25-55-17-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Net Stanchion.
   (1) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the unlocked position.
   (2) Carefully insert the stanchion plunger into the upper ceiling fitting (1).
   (3) Push the stanchion (2) up and align the stanchion locking base (3) with the tie-down point (4).
   (4) Carefully lower the stanchion (2).
   (5) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the correct position on the tie-down point (4).
   (6) Turn the stanchion locking base (3) clockwise 90 degrees to attach the stanchion (2) to the tie-down point (4).
   (7) Make sure that the stanchion (2) is correctly attached.
   (8) Connect the net fittings to the applicable net attachment fittings as required.

B. Installation of the Net Stanchions.
   (1) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the unlocked position.
   (2) Carefully insert the stanchion plunger in the upper ceiling fitting (1).
   (3) Push the stanchion (2) up and align the stanchion locking base (3) with the tie-down point (4).
   (4) Carefully lower the stanchion (2).
   (5) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the correct position on the tie-down point (4).
   (6) Turn the stanchion locking base (3) clockwise 90 degrees to attach the stanchion (2) to the tie-down point (4).
   (7) Make sure that the stanchion (2) is correctly attached.
   (8) Connect the net fittings to the applicable net attachment fittings as required.

B. Installation of the Net Stanchions.
   (1) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the unlocked position.
   (2) Carefully insert the stanchion plunger in the upper ceiling fitting (1).
   (3) Push the stanchion (2) up and align the stanchion locking base (3) with the tie-down point (4).
   (4) Carefully lower the stanchion (2).
   (5) Make sure that the stanchion locking base (3) is in the correct position on the tie-down point (4).
   (6) Turn the stanchion locking base (3) clockwise 90 degrees to attach the stanchion (2) to the tie-down point (4).
   (7) Make sure that the stanchion (2) is correctly attached.
   (8) Connect the net fittings to the applicable net attachment fittings as required.

   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Close the aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

B. Close Access
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Set the light switch to off.
   (4) Close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
   (5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (6) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).

B. Close Access
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Close the aft and/or bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
