(a) Make sure that the convex side of the new seal (2) touches the filter (4).
CAUTION:
BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO PUT TOO MUCH LUBRICANT ON THE FITTING. TOO MUCH LUBRICANT CAN CAUSE:
- CLOGGING OF THE JET INSIDE THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE BODY (AND THUS HIGH PRESSURE SENT TO THE FAN AIR VALVE)
- POLLUTION IN THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEMED HOSE
- AN ODOR TO OCCUR IN THE CABIN.
NOTE: It is not necessary to apply Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) if you install a new filter (4) with part number 398-84.

NOTE: You can use a brush of 5 mm width.
(b) Make sure that you do not put the brush into Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) .NOTE: If you put the brush into Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) , there will be a large quantity of lubricant on the brush.
(c) Apply a small quantity of Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) only on the threads of the filter with the brush:1 Make sure that you do not apply Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) on areas other than the threads of the filter.
2 Make sure that you can see the threads of the filter after you apply Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) .
(8) Use a SOCKET DIA 1/2 IN (12.7 MM) and install the filter (4) or a new AIPC 36-11-43-01-030 FILTER (4).
