Integrity Test of the Braking System
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
WARNING:
PRESSURIZE ONLY THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) THAT IS (ARE) NECESSARY FOR THE TASK. ISOLATE THE OTHER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.

| 1.Fully press the two brake pedals. | The pressure read on the Yellow pressure triple indicator is zero on left and right side's. |
| 2.On the panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in the ON and OFF positions. Do this three or four times. | Each time, make sure that the brake Yellow pressure triple indicator shows :
|
| 3.Put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in the OFF position. | The triple indicator shows the left and right side pressure values. |
| 4.Release the left pedal. | The indicator does not show the left side pressure value. |
| 5.Push the left pedal. | The indicator shows the left-side pressure value again. |
| 6.Release the right pedal. | The indicator does not show the right side pressure value. |
| 7.Push the right pedal. | The indicator shows the right-side pressure value again. |
| 8.Put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to ON and release the pedals. | The brake Yellow pressure triple indicator shows zero pressure on left and right side. |
