A. Test of the Anti-Skid System
NOTE: In the test that follows, if you use the DRIVING ADAPTOR with the drilling machine, read DRIVING ADAPTOR as an alternative to DRIVING TOOL.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the Captain or First Officer side:
On all the brakes:
  • Push the brake pedals.
  • The pistons are extended.
2.On each DRIVING TOOL:
On each wheel which is not connected to the DRIVING TOOL:
  • Set a wheel speed of between 900 and 1100 rpm for the connected wheels.
  • The brake pistons retract.
3.On the DRIVING TOOL connected to the wheels:
On these wheels:
  • Decrease the speed to zero.
  • The brake pistons retract.
4.Release the brake pedals.
On all the brakes:
  • The pistons are retracted.
NOTE: You must release the brake pedals before you stop the last tachometer
NOTE: The braking system goes back to the usual operating condition 20 seconds after the test.

5.Do the same steps as in paragraphs 1 to 4 for the opposite wheel on each landing gear.
On these wheels:
  • You must get the same results.
