A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
   (3) On panel 400VU:
  • Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
  • Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.

   (1) If you did not open the LGCIU circuit breakers, make sure that the electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the applicable MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is adjacent to the applicable MLG.
   (3) Make sure that the applicable access panel is open 574AB(674AB).
   (4) Make sure that the MLG fixed fairing is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-000-001).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the applicable MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is adjacent to the applicable MLG.
   (3) Make sure that the applicable access panel is removed 574AB(674AB).
   (4) Make sure that the MLG fixed fairing is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-000-001).
4. Procedure
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE INSTALLATION AND ROUTING OF ALL ELECTRICAL CABLES AGREE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ELECTRICAL STANDARD PRACTICES MANUAL.
Subtask 32-11-43-420-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation For Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

F MLG Harnesses 1M and 2M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (5) On the 2M harness measure, and mark with a Article-- Wax Crayon - (Material No.14TAC1) , the dimension Z. The dimension Z must be 345 mm (13.5827 in.).

A. Preparation For Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .

   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

A. Preparation For Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (5) On the 2M harness, measure and mark with a Article-- Wax Crayon - (Material No.14TAC1) , the dimension Z. The dimension Z must be 345 mm (13.58 in.).

A. Preparation For Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) .
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 32-11-43-420-075-R ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the 1M and 2M Harnesses on the MLG Leg
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (1) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses on the MLG leg in the correct routing.
   (2) Make sure that there are no kinks in the harnesses.
   (3) For the 1M harness:
     (a) Install the P-clips (43) to the 1M harness.
     (b) Install the P-clips (43) to the bracket (46) with the bolts (42), the washers (44) and the nuts (45).
     (c) TORQUE the nuts (45) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
   (4) For the 2M harness:
     (a) Install the P-clips (48) to the 2M harness.
     (b) Install the P-clips (48) to the bracket (51) with the bolts (47), the washers (49) and the nuts (50).
     (c) TORQUE the nuts (50) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (5) Position the harnesses on the brackets (5):
   (6) Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) across the nuts (6).
   (7) Safety the nuts (6) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (8) For the 2M harness:
     (a) If the bracket (3) was not removed, do as follows:
       1 Put the harness in the bracket (3).
       2 TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft ) T.
       3 Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) across the nuts (4).
       4 Safety the nuts (4) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
     (b) If the bracket (3) was removed, do as follows:
       1 Put the harness in the bracket (3).
       2 Install the bracket (3) with the new AIPC 32-11-11-81-070 TAB WASHERS (18) or AIPC 32-11-85-81-070 TAB WASHERS (18) and the bolts (17).
       3 TORQUE the bolts (17) to between 1.0 and 0.8 m.daN (88.50 and 70.80 lbf.in )
T.
       4 Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) across the nuts (4).
       5 Safety the bolts (17) with the tab washers (18).
       6 TORQUE the nut (4) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft ) T.
       7 Safety the nuts (4) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE IDENTIFIED WITH THEIR FIN NO. TO CORRECTLY CONNECT EACH PLUG TO ITS RELATED RECEPTACLE. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
   (9) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (10) For the 1M harness:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (8) on the bracket (64) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the electrical connector (8) backshell.
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance to show the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (64).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (8) to the bracket (64) with the:
  • cap screws (63)
  • washers (65)
  • nuts (66).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nuts (66) after the cap screws (63) are fully tightened.
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector (8) and fully tighten the backshell.
     (c) Connect the 1M axle harness electrical plug to the electrical connector (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
     (d) Install the P-clips (40) to the 1M harness.
     (e) Install the P-clips (40) to the bracket (37) with the bolts (41), the washers (39) and the nuts (38).
     (f) TORQUE the nuts (38) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Install the P-clips (56) to the 1M harness.
     (h) Install the P-clips (56) to the bracket (55) with the bolts (54), the washers (57) and the nuts (58).
     (i) TORQUE the nuts (58) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
     (j) Install the P-clips (15) to the 1M harness.
     (k) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Hydraulic (Material No.
06LDG6) to the shank and the threads of the bolts (14).
     (l) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the bolts (14).
     (m) Install the P-clips (15) on the leg assembly with the bolts (14) and the washers (16).
     (n) TORQUE the bolts (14) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (o) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to threads of the electrical connector backshells and connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • 21GA-A (20GA-A) (7)
  • 15GA-A (14GA-A) (13)
  • 13GG-A (12GG-A) (71)
  • 17GG-A (16GG-A) (72).
     (p) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the monitoring unit 3GW-A (2GW-A) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-47-18-400-001).
     (q) Make sure the connectors are aligned with the harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (r) Connect the electrical connector 4027VC (4028VC) (2) at the MLG disconnection box (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-46-400-001).
   (11) For the 2M harness:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (10) on the bracket (59) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the electrical connector (10) backshell.
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance to show the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (59).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (10) to the bracket (59) with the:
  • cap screws (60)
  • washers (61)
  • nuts (62).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nuts (62) after the cap screws (60) are fully tightened.
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the thread of the electrical connector (10) and fully tighten the backshell.
     (c) Connect the 2M axle harness electrical plug to the electrical connector (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
     (d) Install the P-clips (56) to the 2M harness.
     (e) Install the P-clips (56) to the bracket (55) with the bolts (56), the washers (57) and the nuts (58).
     (f) TORQUE the nuts (58) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector backshells and connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • 23GA-A (22GA-A) (11)
  • 17GA-A (16GA-A) (12)
  • 11GG-A (14GG-A) (70)
  • 15GG-A (18GG-A) (73).
     (h) Make sure the connectors are aligned with the harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (i) Connect the electrical connector 4029VC (4030VC) (1).
     (j) Install the plug (91) in the liner (90). Do not tighten the screw (92).
     (k) Align the end of the protective sleeve of the 2M harness with the inboard face of the plug (91).
     (l) Tighten the screw (92) sufficiently to safety the plug (91).
   (12) Put the guide blocks (27) in position on the applicable harness.
   (13) Install the guide blocks (27) with the bolts (26), the washers (28) and the nuts (29).
   (14) TORQUE the nuts (29) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
   (15) Put the line-support block assembly (31) in position on the applicable harness. Loosely install the bolts (30), the washers (32) and the nuts (33).
   (16) Make sure that the dimension X for the 1M harness is 150 mm (5.91 in.).
   (17) Make sure that the dimension Y for the 2M harness is 280 mm (11.02 in.).
   (18) TORQUE the nuts (33) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (19) Put the band-clamps (24) in position around the line-support blocks.
   (20) Visually inspect each harness for correct routing and installation.
   (21) Tighten the band-clamp nuts (25).
   (22) Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) across the electrical connectors that you have tightened.

B. Installation of the 1M and 2M Harnesses on the MLG Leg

   (1) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses on the MLG leg in the correct routing.
   (2) Make sure that there are no kinks in the harnesses.
   (3) For the 1M harness:
     (a) Install the P-clips (43) to the 1M harness.
     (b) Install the P-clips (43) to the bracket (46) with the bolts (42), the washers (44) and the nuts (45).
     (c) TORQUE the nuts (45) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
   (4) For the 2M harness:
     (a) Install the P-clips (48) to the 2M harness.
     (b) Install the P-clips (48) to the bracket (51) with the bolts (47), the washers (49) and the nuts (50).
     (c) TORQUE the nuts (50) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (5) Position the harnesses on the brackets (5):
   (6) Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) across the nuts (6).
   (7) Safety the nuts (6) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (8) For the 2M harness:
     (a) If the bracket (3) was not removed, do as follows:
       1 Put the harness in the bracket (3).
       2 TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft ) T.
       3 Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) across the nuts (4).
       4 Safety the nuts (4) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
     (b) If the bracket (3) was removed, do as follows:
       1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Hydraulic (Material No.06LDG6) to:
  • The shank and the threads of the bolts (17)
  • The mating face of the bracket (3) where it will touch the transfer block subassembly.
       2 Put the harness in the bracket (3).
       3 Install the bracket (3) with the new AIPC 32-11-11-81-070 TAB WASHERS (18) or AIPC 32-11-85-81-070 TAB WASHERS (18) and the bolts (17).
       4 TORQUE the bolts (17) to between 1.0 and 0.8 m.daN (88.50 and 70.80 lbf.in )
T.
       5 Safety the bolts (17) with the tab washers (18).
       6 Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay Landing Gear (Material No.
06AAC5) to the head of the bolts (17) and the tab washers (18).
       7 TORQUE the nut (4) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft ) T.
       8 Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) across the nuts (4).
       9 Safety the nuts (4) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE IDENTIFIED WITH THEIR FIN NO. TO CORRECTLY CONNECT EACH PLUG TO ITS RELATED RECEPTACLE. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
   (9) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (10) For the 1M harness:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (8) on the bracket (64) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the electrical connector (8) backshell.
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance to show the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (64).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (8) to the bracket (64) with the:
  • Cap screws (63)
  • Washers (65)
  • Nuts (66).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nuts (66) after the cap screws (63) are fully tightened.
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector (8) and fully tighten the backshell.
     (c) Connect the 1M axle harness electrical plug to the electrical connector (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
     (d) Install the P-clips (40) to the 1M harness.
     (e) Install the P-clips (40) to the bracket (37) with the bolts (41), the washers (39) and the nuts (38).
     (f) TORQUE the nuts (38) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Install the P-clip (56) to the 1M harness.
     (h) Install the P-clip (56) to the bracket (55) with the bolt (54), the washer (57) and the nut (58).
     (i) TORQUE the nut (58) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
     (j) Install the P-clips (15) to the 1M harness.
     (k) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.

     (n) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to threads of the electrical connector backshells and connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • 21GA-A (20GA-A) (7)
  • 15GA-A (14GA-A) (13)
  • 13GG-A (12GG-A) (71)
  • 17GG-A (16GG-A) (72).
     (o) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the monitoring unit 3GW-A (2GW-A) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-47-18-400-001).
     (p) Make sure the connectors are aligned with the harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (q) Connect the electrical connector 4027VC (4028VC) (2) at the MLG disconnection box (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-46-400-001).
   (11) For the 2M harness:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (10) on the bracket (59) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the electrical connector (10) backshell.
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance to show the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (59).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (10) to the bracket (59) with the:
  • Cap screws (60)
  • Washers (61)
  • Nuts (62).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nuts (62) after the cap screws (60) are fully tightened.
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the thread of the electrical connector (10) and fully tighten the backshell.
     (c) Connect the 2M axle harness electrical plug to the electrical connector (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
     (d) Install the P-clip (56) to the 2M harness.
     (e) Install the P-clip (56) to the bracket (55) with the bolt (56), the washer (57) and the nut (58).
     (f) TORQUE the nut (58) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector backshells and connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • 23GA-A (22GA-A) (11)
  • 17GA-A (16GA-A) (12)
  • 11GG-A (14GG-A) (70)
  • 15GG-A (18GG-A) (73).
     (h) Make sure the connectors are aligned with the harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (i) Connect the electrical connector 4029VC (4030VC) (1).
     (j) Install the plug (91) in the liner (90). Do not tighten the screw (92).
     (k) Align the end of the protective sleeve of the 2M harness with the inboard face of the plug (91).
     (l) Tighten the screw (92) sufficiently to safety the plug (91).
   (12) Put the guide blocks (27) in position on the applicable harness.
   (13) Install the guide blocks (27) with the bolts (26), the washers (28) and the nuts (29).
   (14) TORQUE the nuts (29) to between 0.45 and 0.4 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
   (15) Put the line-support block assembly (31) in position on the applicable harness. Loosely install the washers (34), the bolts (30), the washers (32) and the nuts (33).
   (16) Make sure that the dimension X for the 1M harness is 150 mm (5.91 in.).
   (17) Make sure that the dimension Y for the 2M harness is 280 mm (11.02 in.).
   (18) TORQUE the nuts (33) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (19) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.
03JBA1) to the surfaces of the line-support blocks.
   (20) Put the band-clamps (24) in position around the line-support blocks.
   (21) Visually inspect each harness for correct routing and installation.
   (22) Tighten the band-clamp nuts (25).
   (23) Safety the band-clamp nuts (25) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (24) Paint a red line of Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) across the electrical connectors that you have tightened.

B. Installation of the 1M and 2M Harnesses on the MLG Leg
F MLG Harnesses 1M and 2M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses on the MLG leg in the correct routing.
     (a) Make sure that there are no kinks in the harnesses.
   (2) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses in position on the brackets (15).
   (3) TORQUE the locknuts (14) of the bracket (15) at the upper side of the MLG leg to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft ) T.
   (4) TORQUE the locknuts (14) of the bracket (15) at the lower side of the MLG leg to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (5) Safety the locknuts (14) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (6) For the 2M harness, do the steps that follow:
     (a) If the bracket (10) was not removed:
       1 Put the 2M harness in the bracket (10).
       2 TORQUE the locknuts (11) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft )

       3 Safety the locknuts (11) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
     (b) If the bracket (10) was removed:
       1 Put the 2M harness in the bracket (10).
       2 Install the bracket (10) with the new
AIPC 32-11-11-81-070 TAB WASHERS (13) and the bolts (12).
       3 TORQUE the bolts (12) to between 1.0 and 0.8 m.daN (88.50 and 70.80 lbf.in )
T.
       4 Safety the bolts (12) with the tab washers (13).
       5 TORQUE the locknuts (11) to between 3.1 and 2.7 m.daN (22.86 and 19.91 lbf.ft )
T.
       6 Safety the locknuts (11) together with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE IDENTIFIED WITH THEIR FIN NO. TO CORRECTLY CONNECT EACH PLUG TO ITS RELATED RECEPTACLE. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
   (7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (8) For the 1M harness, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (4) on the bracket (74) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the back-shell of the electrical connector (4).
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance until you can see the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (74).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (4) to the bracket (74) with the washers (75), the cap screws (77) and the nuts (76).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nut after the cap screws (77) are fully tightened.
     (b) Do the steps that follow:
       1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector (4) and fully tighten the back-shell.
       2 Make a mark on the back-shell of the electrical connector (4) with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative External Structure (Material No.04JMD3) .
       3 Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to all the bolts and washers that you installed.
     (c) Connect the electrical plug of the 1M axle harness to the electrical connector (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
F MLG Harnesses 1M and 2M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • For 21GA-A (20GA-A), the electrical connector (3)
  • For 15GA-A (14GA-A), the electrical connector (9)
  • For 13GG-A (12GG-A), the electrical connector (84)
  • For 17GG-A (16GG-A), the electrical connector (85).
     (e) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the monitoring unit 3GW-A (2GW-A) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-47-18-400-001).
     (f) Make sure that the connectors are aligned with the 1M harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (g) Connect the electrical connector 4027VC (4028VC) (2) at the MLG disconnection box (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-46-400-001).
   (9) For the 2M harness, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Install the electrical connector (6) on the bracket (73) as follows:
       1 Fully loosen the back-shell of the electrical connector (6).
       2 Pull back the conduit a small distance until you can see the inner cables.
       3 Carefully move the cables through the slot in the bracket (73).
       4 Attach the electrical connector (6) to the bracket (73) with the washers (71), the cap screws (70) and the nuts (72).
NOTE: A minimum of half a thread must show through the nut after the cap screws (70) are fully tightened.
     (b) Do the steps that follow:
       1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the electrical connector (6) and fully tighten the back-shell.
       2 Make a mark on the back-shell of the electrical connector (6) with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative External Structure (Material No.04JMD3) .
       3 Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to all the bolts and washers that you installed.
     (c) Connect the electrical plug of the 2M harness to the electrical connector (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-003).
F MLG Harnesses 1M and 2M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors that follow:
  • For 23GA-A (22GA-A), the electrical connector (7)
  • For 17GA-A (16GA-A), the electrical connector (8)
  • For 11GG-A (14GG-A), the electrical connector (83)
  • For 15GG-A (18GG-A), the electrical connector (86).
       1 Make sure that the connectors are aligned with the 2M harness to prevent kinks in the harness.
     (e) Connect the electrical connector 4029VC (4030VC) (1).
     (f) Install the plug (91) in the liner (90). Do not tighten the screw (92) at this step.
     (g) Align the end of the protective sleeve of the 2M harness with the inboard face of the plug (91).
     (h) Tighten the screw (92) sufficiently to safety the plug (91).
   (10) For 1M harness, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Install the P-clips (49) on the leg assembly with the bolts (50), the washers (51) and the nuts (52).
     (b) TORQUE the nuts (52) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (c) Install the P-clip (63) on the leg assembly with the bolt (62), the washer (64) and the nut (65).
     (d) TORQUE the nut (65) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
     (e) Install the P-clips (44) on the leg assembly with the bolts (42), the washers (43) and the nuts (45).
     (f) Install the P-clips (46) on the leg assembly with the bolts (42), the washers (47) and the nuts (48).
     (g) TORQUE the nuts (45) and (48) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
     (h) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.
05BAB1) on the threads of the bolts (16).
     (i) Install the P-clips (18) on the leg assembly with the bolts (16), the washers (17) and the nuts (19).
     (j) TORQUE the nuts (19) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (k) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay Landing Gear (Material No.
06AAC5) to the bolts (16).
   (11) For 2M harness, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Install the P-clips (54) on the leg assembly with the bolts (53), the washers (55) and the nuts (56).
     (b) TORQUE the nuts (56) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
     (c) Install the P-clip (66) on the leg assembly with the bolt (69), the washer (67) and the nut (68).
     (d) TORQUE the nut (68) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )
T.
   (12) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses in the applicable clamp-blocks (36).
   (13) Put the clamps (34) in position on the clamp-blocks (36).
   (14) Install the bolts (35), the washers (33) and the nuts (32).
   (15) TORQUE the nuts (32) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )

   (16) Put the 1M and 2M harnesses in the applicable channels (28).
   (17) Install the bolts (27), the washers (29) and the nuts (30).
   (18) TORQUE the nuts (30) to between 0.45 and 0.40 m.daN (39.82 and 35.40 lbf.in )

   (21) Make sure that dimension Y for the 2M harness is 280 mm (11.02 in.).
   (22) Put the band-clamps (25) in position around the line-support blocks.
   (23) Visually examine the 1M and 2M harnesses for correct routing and installation.
   (24) Tighten the nuts (26) of the band-clamps (25).
   (25) Safety the nuts (26) of the band-clamps (25) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (26) Do the steps that follow:
     (a) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the back-shells of all the electrical connectors that you removed.
     (b) Make a mark on the back-shells of all the electrical connectors that you removed with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative External Structure (Material No.04JMD3) .
     (c) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to all the bolts and washers that you installed.
