Subtask 32-11-46-941-051-A
A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:
Subtask 32-11-46-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:
- Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
Subtask 32-11-46-860-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
(4) Make sure that the overwing panel protection is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-42-000-001).
Subtask 32-11-46-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
(4) Make sure that the overwing panel protection is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-42-000-001).
WARNING:
OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 1JH, 2JH1, 2JH2, 3JH1 AND 3JH2 (ENGINE 1 AND 2 IGNITION SYSTEMS).
THEN OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 2KS1 AND 2KS2 (FADEC A AND EIU 1 AND 2) AND 4KS1 (FADEC B AND EIU 1).
IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE, THE ENGINE AUTOMATIC IGNITION- SYSTEM WILL OPERATE. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 32-11-46-420-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
B. Installation of the MLG Disconnection Box
(1) Put the MLG disconnection box (16) between the mid and aft beams of the overwing panel Z571 (Z671). Install the MLG disconnection box (16) with the screws (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Carefully move the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12) into their slots in the MLG disconnection box (16).
(3) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(4) Install the electrical receptacle 4027VC (4028VC) into its retaining plate.
(5) Connect the electrical connector (3) to 4027VC (4028VC) and make sure that the route of the cable (13) is correct. Put the cleat (15) in position and install the screw (14).
(6) Tighten the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12).
(7) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(8) Clean the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12) with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(9) Apply a continuous layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(10) Connect the bonding straps (10) and install the screws (5) and (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Put the clips (11) in position and install the screws (9).
(12) Put the lid (4) in position and install the screws (1).
Subtask 32-11-46-420-051-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the MLG disconnection box (16) between the mid and aft beams of the overwing panel Z571 (Z671). Install the MLG disconnection box (16) with the screws (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Carefully move the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12) into their slots in the MLG disconnection box (16).
(3) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(4) Install the electrical receptacle 4027VC (4028VC) into its retaining plate.
(5) Connect the electrical connector (3) to 4027VC (4028VC) and make sure that the route of the cable (13) is correct. Put the cleat (15) in position and install the screw (14).
(6) Tighten the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12).

(9) Apply a continuous layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(10) Connect the bonding straps (10) and install the screws (5) and (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Put the clips (11) in position and install the screws (9).
(12) Put the lid (4) in position and install the screws (1).
B. Installation of the MLG Disconnection Box
(1) Put the MLG disconnection box (16) between the mid and aft beams of the overwing panel Z571(Z671). Install the MLG disconnection box (16) with the screws (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Carefully move the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12) into their slots in the MLG disconnection box (16).
(3) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(4) Install the electrical receptacle 4027VC (4028VC) into its retaining plate.
(5) Install the electrical receptacle 4031VC (4032VC) into its retaining plate.
(6) Connect the electrical plug (3) to 4027VC (4028VC) and make sure that the route of the cable (13) is correct. Put the cleat (15) in position and install the screw (14).
(7) Tighten the electrical connectors (7), (8) and (12).
(8) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(9) Clean the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12) with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(10) Apply a continuous layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(11) Connect the bonding straps (10) and install the screws (5) and (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(12) Put the clips (11) in position and install the screws (9).
(13) Put the lid (4) in position and install the screws (1).
Subtask 32-11-46-865-052-A (1) Put the MLG disconnection box (16) between the mid and aft beams of the overwing panel Z571(Z671). Install the MLG disconnection box (16) with the screws (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Carefully move the electrical connections (7), (8) and (12) into their slots in the MLG disconnection box (16).
(3) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(4) Install the electrical receptacle 4027VC (4028VC) into its retaining plate.
(5) Install the electrical receptacle 4031VC (4032VC) into its retaining plate.
(6) Connect the electrical plug (3) to 4027VC (4028VC) and make sure that the route of the cable (13) is correct. Put the cleat (15) in position and install the screw (14).
(7) Tighten the electrical connectors (7), (8) and (12).
(8) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(9) Clean the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12) with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(10) Apply a continuous layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the electrical connectors (3), (7), (8) and (12).
(11) Connect the bonding straps (10) and install the screws (5) and (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(12) Put the clips (11) in position and install the screws (9).
(13) Put the lid (4) in position and install the screws (1).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

DURING THE FUNCTIONAL TEST OF THE TACHOMETERS, MAKE SURE THAT THE OPERATION OF THE BRAKE PISTONS IS CORRECT AND AGREES WITH EACH STEP GIVEN IN THIS TEST: INCORRECT OPERATION OF THE BRAKE PISTONS CAN BE CAUSED BY A BAD OR A CROSSED CONNECTION OF THE TACHOMETERS DURING INSTALLATION, AND CAN CAUSE UNSATISFACTORY BRAKING AND/OR A TIRE BURST DURING AIRCRAFT OPERATION.
