BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL SAFETY-LOCKS AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) is in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
Subtask 57-51-42-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) is in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
Subtask 57-51-42-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is below the applicable zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure that the MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.

Subtask 57-51-42-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 57-51-42-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
B. Installation of the Overwing Panel Protection
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the interface of the aircraft structure.
(3) Install the lanyard (21) to the panel (6) with the screw (20), the washer (23) and the nut (22).
(4) Install the lanyard (16) to the panel (6) with the screw (17), the washer (15) and the nut (14).
(5) Connect the bonding lead (18) to the panel (6) with:
(7) Put the panel (6) in position.
(8) Connect one end of the bonding lead (5) and install the twenty three bolts (13).
(9) Put the manifold (10) in position and install the three bolts (9).
(10) Connect the bonding lead (12) to the manifold (10) with the bolt (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Install the pipe clamp (8) with the bolts (7).
(12) Install the cable clip (32) with the screw (33), the washers (31) and the nut (30).
(13) Install the cable clips (26) with the screws (27), the washers (28) and the nuts (29).
(14) Put the panel (1) in position.
(15) Connect the bonding lead (5) and install the twenty four bolts (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(16) Install the pipe clamp (3) with the bolts (2).
5. Close-upCAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL MANIFOLDS, PIPES AND HOSES ARE SUFFICIENTLY SUPPORTED WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL PANELS. IF MANIFOLDS, PIPES AND HOSES ARE NOT SUFFICIENTLY SUPPORTED, LEAKS CAN OCCUR.
(1) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) to the interface of the aircraft structure and the mating surfaces of panels (1) and (6). (2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the interface of the aircraft structure.
(3) Install the lanyard (21) to the panel (6) with the screw (20), the washer (23) and the nut (22).
(4) Install the lanyard (16) to the panel (6) with the screw (17), the washer (15) and the nut (14).
(5) Connect the bonding lead (18) to the panel (6) with:
- the screw (19)
- the washer (24)
- the nut (25) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) Put the panel (6) in position.
(8) Connect one end of the bonding lead (5) and install the twenty three bolts (13).
(9) Put the manifold (10) in position and install the three bolts (9).
(10) Connect the bonding lead (12) to the manifold (10) with the bolt (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Install the pipe clamp (8) with the bolts (7).
(12) Install the cable clip (32) with the screw (33), the washers (31) and the nut (30).
(13) Install the cable clips (26) with the screws (27), the washers (28) and the nuts (29).
(14) Put the panel (1) in position.
(15) Connect the bonding lead (5) and install the twenty four bolts (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(16) Install the pipe clamp (3) with the bolts (2).
Subtask 57-51-42-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
