WARNING:

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(2) On the panel 400VU:
(4) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear doors.
(5) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
Subtask 32-11-00-869-057-A (1) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(2) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear doors.
(5) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
B. Flight Configuration Precautions
(1) If the electrical power is not necessary for other maintenance tasks, de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2) If the electrical power is necessary, do the precautions for flight configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001) before you lift the aircraft.
Subtask 32-11-00-010-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the electrical power is not necessary for other maintenance tasks, de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2) If the electrical power is necessary, do the precautions for flight configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001) before you lift the aircraft.
C. Get Access
(1) Remove the MLG wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-000-006).
(2) Remove the MLG brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(3) Remove the MLG axle adaptor sleeves (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-71-000-001).
Subtask 32-11-00-010-065-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the MLG wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-000-006).
(2) Remove the MLG brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(3) Remove the MLG axle adaptor sleeves (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-71-000-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Remove the MLG brake fans (Ref. AMM TASK 32-48-51-000-005).
(2) Remove the MLG wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-000-006).
(3) Remove the MLG brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(4) Remove the MLG axle adaptor sleeves (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-71-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the MLG brake fans (Ref. AMM TASK 32-48-51-000-005).
(2) Remove the MLG wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-000-006).
(3) Remove the MLG brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(4) Remove the MLG axle adaptor sleeves (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-71-000-001).

A. Visual Inspection of the MLG Axle Lands
(1) Examine the MLG axles for overheating.
(2) Examine the axle lands for discoloration and/or deterioration of the chrome finish.
(3) Examine the axle adaptor sleeves for:

- Scoring of the internal surface
- Overheating/discoloration.
B. Detailed Inspection of the MLG Axle Lands
(1) Measure the out-of-roundness of the axle lands T. The axle lands T must be round within 40 microns (1600 micro-inches).
(2) Measure the out-of-roundness of the axle lands S. The axle lands S must be round within 63 microns (2500 micro-inches).
5. Close-up(1) Measure the out-of-roundness of the axle lands T. The axle lands T must be round within 40 microns (1600 micro-inches).
(2) Measure the out-of-roundness of the axle lands S. The axle lands S must be round within 63 microns (2500 micro-inches).

(1) Install the MLG axle adaptor sleeves (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-71-400-001).
(2) Install the MLG brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-400-001).
(3) Install the MLG wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-400-006).
