4. Procedure
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE QUARTER-TURN FASTENER ON THE FIRE DETECTOR CLAMP. ONLY USE A MANUAL SCREWDRIVER. ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS WILL CAUSE THE FASTENER TO TURN TOO MUCH AND POSSIBLY TO BREAK.

A. Installation of the Loop-A Fire Detector Cables
F Loop-A Fire Detector Cables ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Install the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) as follows:
     (a) Open the clamps for channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) if necessary.
     (b) Rub the mating surface of the fire support bracket with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.U1-0006) .
     (c) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
     (d) Remove the U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl from the surface with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
     (e) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) through the top hole in the fire support bracket.
     (f) Loosely attach the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) to the fire support bracket with the washer (5) and the nut (6). Do not torque the nut (6) at this time.
     (g) Measure the resistance between the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) sheath and the fire support bracket.
     (h) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
     (i) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the nut (6), the washer (5) and channel A common aft fire detector cable (1). Do Step 4.A.(1)(b) thru Step 4.A.(1)(i) again.
     (j) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the top dual-hinged clamp on the fire support bracket.
     (k) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) adjacent to the appropriate clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (l) Make sure that the installation reference markers (the colored bands) are adjacent to the dual mounting clamps at the top of the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (m) Remove the nut (7) on the terminal ”C” of the aft fire/overheat detector element.
     (n) Connect the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) STUD C lug (4001WD1-C) to the terminal ”C” of the aft fire/overheat detector element with the nut (7). Do not torque the nut (7) at this time.
     (o) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the hinged clamp on the fire bracket.
     (p) For PRE SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the bottom clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the right side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Make sure that there is 5.5 IN. (139.7 MM) to 6.5 IN. (165.1 MM) of the cable between the fire support bracket with the connector (4036VC-A) and the dual-hinged clamp on the fire electrical bracket. See View E.
     (q) For POST SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the bottom clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the right side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the center of the dual-hinged clamp. See View H.
     (r) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the forward clamp of the bottom dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (s) Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the center of the dual mounting clamp. See View J.
     (t) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the forward clamp of the bottom dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View K.
     (u) Put the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1) in the hinged clamp on the forward side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View L.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRE DETECTOR CABLES ON THE LOOP-A ELECTRICAL RAIL-ASSEMBLY DO NOT TOUCH THE RAIL. IF A CABLE TOUCHES THE RAIL, IT CAN RUB AGAINST THE RAIL, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE.
     (v) Adjust the channel A common aft fire detector cable (1).
     (w) Make sure that the cable does not touch the loop-A electrical rail assembly or other parts.
     (x) Make sure that the INSTL REF bands are in the center of the clamps.
     (y) Make sure that there are no bends with a radius of less than 0.375 IN. (9.5 MM).
     (z) Close the hinged clamps, the dual-hinged clamps and the dual mounted.
     (aa) Turn the screws on the clamps one-quarter turn clockwise to close them.
     (ab) TORQUE the nut (7) on the terminal ”C” of the aft fire/overheat detector element to between 45 and 40 lbf.in (0.509 and 0.452 m.daN ) T.
     (ac) TORQUE the nut (6) on the fire support bracket to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.452 and 0.396 m.daN )

WARNING: USE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (ad) Safety the nut (6) with U1-0074MS20995N20 lockwire, 24 gauge or alternate U1-0038MS20995C20 lockwire, 24 gauge.
   (2) Install the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) as follows:
     (a) Open the clamps for channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) if necessary.
     (b) Rub the mating surface of the fire support bracket with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.
U1-0006) .
     (c) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
     (d) Remove the U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl from the surface with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
     (e) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) through the second from the top hole in the fire support bracket.
     (f) Loosely attach the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) to the fire support bracket with the washer (5) and the nut (6). Do not torque the nut (6) at this time.
     (g) Measure the resistance between the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) sheath and the fire support bracket.
     (h) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
     (i) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the nut (6), the washer (5) and channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2). Do Step 4.A.(2)(b) thru Step 4.A.(2)(i) again.
     (j) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the top dual-hinged clamp on the fire support bracket.
     (k) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) adjacent to the appropriate clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (l) Make sure that the installation reference markers (the colored bands) are adjacent to the dual mounting clamps at the top of the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (m) Remove the nut (8) on the terminal ”A” of the aft fire/overheat detector element.
     (n) Connect the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) STUD A lug (4001WD1-A) to the terminal ”A” of the aft fire/overheat detector element with the nut (8). Do not torque the nut (8) at this time.
     (o) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the hinged clamp on the fire bracket.
     (p) For PRE SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the bottom clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the left side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Make sure that there is 5.5 IN. (139.7 MM) to 6.5 IN. (165.1 MM) of the cable between the fire support bracket with the connector (4035VC-A) and the dual-hinged clamp on the fire electrical bracket. See View D.
     (q) For POST SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the bottom clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the left side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the center of the dual-hinged clamp. See View H.
     (r) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the aft clamp of the bottom dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (s) Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the center of the dual mounting clamp. See View J.
     (t) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the aft clamp of the bottom dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View K.
     (u) Put the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2) in the hinged clamp on the aft side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View L.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRE DETECTOR CABLES ON THE LOOP-A ELECTRICAL RAIL-ASSEMBLY DO NOT TOUCH THE RAIL. IF A CABLE TOUCHES THE RAIL, IT CAN RUB AGAINST THE RAIL, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE.
     (v) Adjust the channel A alarm aft fire detector cable (2).
     (w) Make sure that the cable does not touch the loop-A electrical rail assembly or other parts.
     (x) Make sure that the INSTL REF bands are in the center of the clamps.
     (y) Make sure that there are no bends with a radius of less than 0.375 IN. (9.5 MM).
     (z) Turn the screws on the hinged clamps, the dual-hinged clamps and the dual mounted clamps one-quarter turn clockwise to close them.
     (aa) TORQUE the nut (8) on the terminal ”A” of the aft fire/overheat detector element to between 55 and 50 lbf.in (0.622 and 0.565 m.daN ) T.
     (ab) TORQUE the nut (6) on the fire support bracket to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.452 and 0.396 m.daN )

WARNING: USE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (ac) Safety the nut (6) with U1-0074MS20995N20 lockwire, 24 gauge or alternate U1-0038MS20995C20 lockwire, 24 gauge.
   (3) Install the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) as follows:
     (a) Open the clamps for channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) if necessary.
     (b) Rub the mating surface of the fire support bracket with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.
U1-0006) .
     (c) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
     (d) Remove the U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl from the surface with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
     (e) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) through the second from the bottom hole in the fire support bracket.
     (f) Loosely attach the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) to the fire support bracket with the washer (5) and the nut (6). Do not torque the nut (6) at this time.
     (g) Measure the resistance between the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) sheath and the fire support bracket.
     (h) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
     (i) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the nut (6), the washer (5) and channel A common forward fire detector cable (3). Do Step 4.A.(3)(b) thru Step 4.A.(3)(i) again.
     (j) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the bottom dual-hinged clamp on the fire support bracket.
     (k) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) adjacent to the appropriate clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (l) Make sure that the installation reference markers (the colored bands) are adjacent to the dual mounting clamps at the top of the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (m) Remove the nut (10) on the terminal ”C” of the forward fire/overheat detector element.
     (n) Connect the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) STUD C lug (4002WD1-C) to the terminal ”C” of the forward fire/overheat detector element with the nut (10). Do not torque the nut (10) at this time.
     (o) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the hinged clamp on the fire bracket.
     (p) For PRE SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the top clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the right side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Make sure that there is 5.8 IN. (147.3 MM) to 6.8 IN. (172.7 MM) of the cable between the fire support bracket with the connector (4034VC-A) and the dual-hinged clamp on the fire electrical bracket. See View F.
     (q) For POST SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the top clamp of the dual-hinged clamp on the right side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the center of the dual-hinged clamp. See View H.
     (r) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the forward clamp of the dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (s) Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the center of the dual mounting clamp. See View J.
     (t) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the forward clamp of the dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View K.
     (u) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the forward clamp of the dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View L.
     (v) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the forward clamps of the three dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
     (w) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the two hinged clamps on the forward side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See Views Q and R.
     (x) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the forward clamps of the two dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
     (y) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the hinged clamp on the forward side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View S.
     (z) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the hinged clamp on the top of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View T.
     (aa) Put the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3) in the outboard clamps of the two dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRE DETECTOR CABLES ON THE LOOP-A ELECTRICAL RAIL-ASSEMBLY DO NOT TOUCH THE RAIL. IF A CABLE TOUCHES THE RAIL, IT CAN RUB AGAINST THE RAIL, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE.
     (ab) Adjust the channel A common forward fire detector cable (3).
     (ac) Make sure that the cable does not touch the loop-A electrical rail assembly or other parts.
     (ad) Make sure that the INSTL REF bands are in the center of the clamps.
     (ae) Make sure that there are no bends with a radius of less than 0.375 IN. (9.5 MM).
     (af) Turn the screws on the hinged clamps, the dual-hinged clamps and the dual mounted clamps one-quarter turn clockwise to close them.
     (ag) TORQUE the nut (10) on the terminal ”C” of the forward fire/overheat detector element to between 45 and 40 lbf.in (0.509 and 0.452 m.daN ) T.
     (ah) TORQUE the nut (6) on the fire support bracket to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.452 and 0.396 m.daN )

     (ai) Safety the nut (6) with U1-0074MS20995N20 lockwire, 24 gauge or alternate U1-0038MS20995C20 lockwire, 24 gauge.
   (4) Install the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) as follows:
     (a) Open the clamps for channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) if necessary.
     (b) Rub the mating surface of the fire support bracket with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.
U1-0006) .
     (c) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
     (d) Remove the U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl from the surface with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
     (e) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) through the bottom hole in the fire support bracket.
     (f) Loosely attach the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) to the fire support bracket with the washer (5) and the nut (6). Do not torque the nut (6) at this time.
     (g) Measure the resistance between the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) sheath and the fire support bracket.
     (h) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
     (i) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the nut (6), the washer (5) and channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4). Do Step 4.A.(4)(b) thru Step 4.A.(4)(i) again.
     (j) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the bottom dual-hinged clamp on the fire support bracket.
     (k) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) adjacent to the appropriate clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (l) Make sure that the installation reference markers (the colored bands) are adjacent to the dual mounting clamps at the top of the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (m) Remove the nut (9) on the terminal ”A” of the forward fire/overheat detector element.
     (n) Connect the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) STUD A lug (4002WD1-A) to the terminal ”A” of the forward fire/overheat detector element with the nut (9). Do not torque the nut (9) at this time.
     (o) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the hinged clamp on the fire bracket.
     (p) For PRE SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the top of the dual-hinged clamp on the left side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Make sure that there is 6.0 IN. (152.4 MM) to 7.0 IN. (177.8 MM) of the cable between the fire support bracket with the connector (4033VC-A) and the dual-hinged clamp on the fire electrical bracket. See View G.
     (q) For POST SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
       1 Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the top of the dual-hinged clamp on the left side of the fire electrical bracket.
       2 Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the center of the dual-hinged clamp. See View H.
     (r) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the aft clamp of the top dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly.
     (s) Put the INSTL REF band on the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the center of the dual mounting clamp. See View J.
     (t) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the aft clamp of the top dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View K.
     (u) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the aft clamp of the top dual mounting clamp on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View L.
     (v) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the top clamps of the three dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
     (w) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the hinged clamp on the aft side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View R.
     (x) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the aft clamps of the two dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
     (y) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the hinged clamp on the aft side of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View S.
     (z) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the hinged clamp on the bottom of the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View T.
     (aa) Put the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4) in the inboard clamps of the two dual mounting clamps on the loop-A electrical rail assembly. See View M.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRE DETECTOR CABLES ON THE LOOP-A ELECTRICAL RAIL-ASSEMBLY DO NOT TOUCH THE RAIL. IF A CABLE TOUCHES THE RAIL, IT CAN RUB AGAINST THE RAIL, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE.
     (ab) Adjust the channel A alarm forward fire detector cable (4).
     (ac) Make sure that the cable does not touch the loop-A electrical rail assembly or other parts.
     (ad) Make sure that the INSTL REF bands are in the center of the clamps.
     (ae) Make sure that there are no bends with a radius of less than 0.375 IN. (9.5 MM).
     (af) Turn the screws on the hinged clamps, the dual-hinged clamps and the dual mounted clamps one-quarter turn clockwise to close them.
     (ag) TORQUE the nut (9) on the terminal ”A” of the forward fire/overheat detector element to between 55 and 50 lbf.in (0.622 and 0.565 m.daN ) T.
     (ah) TORQUE the nut (6) on the fire support bracket to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.452 and 0.396 m.daN )

B. Installation of the Loop-A Fire Electrical Harness

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: USE TEFLON-JAWED PLIERS TO CONNECT ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. DO NOT USE METAL-JAWED PLIERS. DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS COULD OCCUR.
   (1) Put the clamp (4) on the loop-A fire harness (1).
   (2) Attach the loop-A fire harness (1) and the clamp (4) to the PW AOC bracket with the bolt (2) and washer (3).
   (3) Put the INSTL REF band on the loop-A fire harness (1) in the center of the clamp (4).
   (4) Do not torque the bolt (2) at this time.
   (5) Put the clamp (7) on the loop-A fire harness (1).
   (6) Remove the bolt (8), two washers (6) and the nut (5) from the IDG-EDP-MON harness and the clamp.
   (7) Attach the loop-A fire harness (1) and the clamp (7) to the IDG-EDP-MON harness and the clamp.
   (8) Put the two clamps where there is the least clearance for the harnesses.
   (9) Use the bolt (8), two washers (6) and the nut (5).
   (10) Do not torque the nut (5) at this time.
   (11) Put the clamps (9) on the loop-A fire harness (1).
   (12) Attach the loop-A fire harness (1) and the two clamps (9) to the fire electrical bracket with the two bolts (11) and the washers (10).
   (13) Do not torque the bolts (11) at this time.
   (14) Clean the bolt (16) and the washer (17) with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
   (15) Rub the mating surface of the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.U1-0006)
   (16) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
   (17) Remove the alcohol from the hardware and terminal lug with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
   (18) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug to the fire electrical bracket with the bolt (16) and the washer (17).
   (19) Do not torque the bolt (16) at this time.
   (20) Measure the resistance between the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug and the fire electrical bracket.
   (21) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
   (22) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the hardware. Do steps 4.B.(13) thru 4.B.(22) again.
   (23) For PRE SB GRA A320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 10 lug (4033VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly forward fire detector cable (4033VC-A) with the bolt (13).
     (b) Do not torque the bolt (13) at this time.
     (c) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 8 lug (4034VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly forward fire detector cable (4034VC-A) with the bolt (12).
     (d) Do not torque the bolt (12) at this time.
   (24) For POST SB GRA A320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the following:
     (a) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 10 lug (4033VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly forward fire detector cable (4033VC-A) with the bolt (13) and the washer (19).
     (b) Do not torque the bolt (13) at this time.
     (c) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 8 lug (4034VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly forward fire detector cable (4034VC-A) with the bolt (18) and the washer (19).
     (d) Do not torque the bolt (18) at this time.
   (25) Clean the bolt (14) and the washer (15) with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
   (26) Rub the mating surface of the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug with scotch-brite ultra-fine pads (Material No.U1-0006) .
   (27) Clean the mating surface with U2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent on a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) .
   (28) Remove the alcohol from the hardware and terminal lug with a clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.U1-0001) before it dries.
   (29) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug to the fire electrical bracket with the bolt (14) and the washer (15).
   (30) Do not torque the bolt (14) at this time.
   (31) Measure the resistance between the loop-A fire harness (1) terminal lug and the fire electrical bracket.
   (32) Make sure that the resistance is less than 0.0025 ohms.
   (33) If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohms, remove the hardware. Do steps 4.B.(24) thru 4.B.(33) again.
   (34) For PRE SB GRA A320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the following:
     (a) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 10 lug (4035VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly aft fire detector cable (4035VC-A) with the bolt (13).
     (b) Do not torque the bolt (13) at this time.
     (c) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 8 lug (4036VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly aft fire detector cable (4036VC-A) with the bolt (12).
     (d) Do not torque the bolt (12) at this time.
   (35) For POST SB GRA A320NEO-A-71-51-0001-00001-930A-D, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 10 lug (4035VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly aft fire detector cable (4035VC-A) with the bolt (13) and the washer (19).
     (b) Do not torque the bolt (13) at this time.
     (c) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) STUD 8 lug (4036VC) to the loop-A electrical rail assembly aft fire detector cable (4036VC-A) with the bolt (18) and the washer (19).
     (d) Do not torque the bolt (18) at this time.
   (36) Remove the protective caps from the loop-A fire harness (1) connector (452VC-A) and the pylon interface.
   (37) Connect the loop-A fire harness (1) connector to the pylon interface.
   (38) Tighten the connector with your fingers.
   (39) Tighten the connector 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn more with PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT.
   (40) Adjust the loop-A fire harness (1) to make sure that there is a minimum load on the harness connector and lugs.
   (41) TORQUE the bolts (2), (11), (14) and (16) to between 35 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.396 and 0.356 m.daN ) T.
   (42) TORQUE the bolts (12) or (18) to between 20 and 18 lbf.in (0.226 and 0.203 m.daN )
