A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is in position.
(2) Make sure that the emergency exit door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Make sure that the door lining is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).
Subtask 56-31-15-860-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is in position.
(2) Make sure that the emergency exit door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Make sure that the door lining is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

(2) Make sure that the applicable emergency exit door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Make sure that the applicable door lining panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is in position.
(2) Make sure that the applicable emergency exit door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Make sure that the applicable door lining panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-010).
Subtask 56-31-15-160-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Examine the window panes and make sure that they are not damaged.
(2) Clean the inner pane (8), rubber seal (7) and outer pane (6) with clean warm water.
(3) Do a check and make sure that all abrasive particles are removed from the components.
(4) Repeat the procedure again with a weak solution of soap and water. Use a clean SPONGE or CHAMOIS LEATHER.
(5) Remove the soap solution with clean, warm water.
(6) Dry the components with a moist chamois leather.
(7) If stains or dirty marks remain, you must remove them with Cleaner-Plastic - - (Material No.08CSA9) and a clean, Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(8) Remove the plastic cleaner with clean water.
(9) Apply anti-static treatment on the window panes:
(a) Mix 7 parts of Cleaner-Plastic - - (Material No.08CSA9) with 60 parts of water.
(b) Apply plastic cleaner solution to the window panes.
(c) Let the window panes dry.
(d) Do a check to make sure that the window panes are dry. Polish them with a clean lint free cloth.
(11) Install the outer pane (6) in the rubber seal (7).
(13) Make sure that the retainer (3) is in the correct condition.
Subtask 56-31-15-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the window panes and make sure that they are not damaged.
(2) Clean the inner pane (8), rubber seal (7) and outer pane (6) with clean warm water.
(3) Do a check and make sure that all abrasive particles are removed from the components.
(4) Repeat the procedure again with a weak solution of soap and water. Use a clean SPONGE or CHAMOIS LEATHER.
(5) Remove the soap solution with clean, warm water.

NOTE: You must wear GLOVES - COTTON, LINT-FREE, CLEAN when you touch the window panes, components and assemblies.
(10) Install the inner pane (8) in the rubber seal (7). (11) Install the outer pane (6) in the rubber seal (7).
NOTE: You must install the inner pane (8) and the outer pane (6) in the rubber seal (7) in accordance with the alignment marks.
(12) Make sure that the window frame (5) is clean and that there are no dents, damaged paintwork or corrosion. (13) Make sure that the retainer (3) is in the correct condition.
B. Install the window
(1) Put the window assembly (4) in position on the window frame (5).
(2) Make sure that the vent hole (9) through the inner pane (8) is at the bottom of the door window assembly.
(3) Put the retainer (3) in position and install the retainer-attach screws (1) and the washers (2).

(5) Clean the outer surface of the outer pane (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 56-21-13-100-002).
(6) Clean the inboard surface of the inner pane (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-21-12-100-001).
5. Close-up(1) Put the window assembly (4) in position on the window frame (5).
(2) Make sure that the vent hole (9) through the inner pane (8) is at the bottom of the door window assembly.
(3) Put the retainer (3) in position and install the retainer-attach screws (1) and the washers (2).
NOTE: Do not damage the protective surfaces of the retainer.
(4) TORQUE the retainer-attach screws (1) to between 0.4 and 0.3 m.daN (35.40 and 26.55 lbf.in )
. (5) Clean the outer surface of the outer pane (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 56-21-13-100-002).
(6) Clean the inboard surface of the inner pane (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-21-12-100-001).
Subtask 56-31-15-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-010).
(3) Close the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 56-31-15-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-010).
(3) Close the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install applicable door-lining panel 835CZ or 845CZ (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-010).
(3) Close the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install applicable door-lining panel 835CZ or 845CZ (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-010).
(3) Close the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
