Cleaning the Outer Surface of the Outer Window Panes
NOTE: You must not use a dry cloth to clean the window panes. A dry cloth can scratch the surface of the window panes and cause the build-up of static electrical charges.

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position.

A. Clean the window panes with a large quantity of warm water.
(1) Make sure that the window panes are free from abrasive particles.
(2) Mix the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and water to make a mild cleaning solution.
(4) Rinse the window panes with a large quantity of warm water.
(5) Dry the window panes with the chamois leather.
(6) If stains or dirty marks remain:
(a) Clean the window panes with the Cleaner-Plastic - - (Material No.08CSA9) and a boiled glove cloth.
(b) Rinse the window panes with a large quantity of warm water.
(c) Dry the window panes with the chamois leather.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the window panes are free from abrasive particles.
(2) Mix the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and water to make a mild cleaning solution.
CAUTION:
USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED MATERIALS AND OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURERS. OTHER MATERIALS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION OF THE COMPONENTS AND THE RELATED AREA.
(3) Clean the window panes with a mild soap solution. Use a GLOVES - COTTON, LINT-FREE, CLEAN or a CHAMOIS LEATHER or a SPONGE. (4) Rinse the window panes with a large quantity of warm water.
(5) Dry the window panes with the chamois leather.
(6) If stains or dirty marks remain:
(a) Clean the window panes with the Cleaner-Plastic - - (Material No.08CSA9) and a boiled glove cloth.
(b) Rinse the window panes with a large quantity of warm water.
(c) Dry the window panes with the chamois leather.
