A. Dimensional Checks
(1) Measure the dimension X, the vertical distance between the center of the proximity sensor and the center of its target. Make sure that the dimension X is to a maximum of 3.0 mm (0.1181 in.).
Subtask 32-31-73-820-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Measure the dimension X, the vertical distance between the center of the proximity sensor and the center of its target. Make sure that the dimension X is to a maximum of 3.0 mm (0.1181 in.).
NOTE: The target center location can be on each side of the sensor center.
(2) Measure the dimension Y, the horizontal distance between the center of the proximity sensor and the center of its target. Make sure the the dimension Y is to a maximum of 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.). NOTE: The target center location can be on each side of the sensor center.
(3) Measure the dimension Z, the distance between the proximity sensor and its target. Make sure that the dimension Z is 2.0 mm (0.0787 in.) +/- 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.). B. Adjustment of the NLG Door Open Proximity Sensors 36GA, 37GA, 38GA, 39GA
(1) If the dimension Z and/or the dimension X is incorrect, do a check of the NLG door clearances and mismatches (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-220-001).
(2) If necessary, adjust the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-820-001).
