A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system

B. Safety Precautions
(1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system on the ground service panel.
(3) On the HYD section of panel 40VU:
(5) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
Subtask 29-11-49-010-133-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend off).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate this pushbutton switch.
(a) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system on the ground service panel.
(3) On the HYD section of panel 40VU:
- Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system.
(5) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
C. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
Subtask 29-11-49-010-143-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). E. Get Access
(1) Open the thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

A. General Visual Inspection of the Engine Hydraulic Tubes and Hoses
(2) Do a visual inspection of the engine hydraulic tubes and hoses.
(a) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses. Look for cracks, corrosion, nicks, scratches, chafing, dents and other damage.
(b) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses. Look for loose connections and leaks.
(c) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses attaching hardware. Look for loose, worn, damaged or missing hardware.
(3) If you find damage, replace the part or contact United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) for disposition:
5. Close-upCAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Do not discard a part until you are sure there are no repairs available. If you reject a part and no repair is available, contact United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) for disposition. (2) Do a visual inspection of the engine hydraulic tubes and hoses.
(a) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses. Look for cracks, corrosion, nicks, scratches, chafing, dents and other damage.
(b) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses. Look for loose connections and leaks.
(c) Examine the hydraulic suction hose, pressure hose and case drain tubes and hoses attaching hardware. Look for loose, worn, damaged or missing hardware.
(3) If you find damage, replace the part or contact United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) for disposition:
- For the hydraulic case drain tubes and hoses (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-000-805) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-400-805).
- For the hydraulic suction hose (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-000-806) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-400-806).
- For the hydraulic pressure hose (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-000-807) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-400-807).
Subtask 29-11-49-410-105-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Close the thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
