Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Tracks 1 and 2

MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear doors.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position below the applicable zone.
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control-lever.
(3) Make sure that the applicable MLG door is open and the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the MLG door actuating cylinder.
(4) Make sure that the flaps are fully extended (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(5) Make sure that the No. 1 Spoiler is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(6) Make sure that the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER is installed on the piston rod of the servo-control.
(7) Make sure that the applicable access panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-000-001):
(9) Make sure that the No. 2 flap track movable-fairing is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(10) Make sure that the applicable access panels 573BB 673BB are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-002).

(10) Make sure that the applicable access panels 573BB 673BB are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-002).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Remove the unwanted sealant from all the interface surfaces with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Examine the bushes and bearing surfaces for wear and for general condition.
Subtask 27-54-55-420-053-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the unwanted sealant from all the interface surfaces with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .

B. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 1
(1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (17).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (17) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(d) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the threads of the nuts (18).
(e) Install the cover shell (1) with the bolts (2), (3) and (4) and the nuts (18).
(f) TORQUE the bolts (2), (3) and (4) to between 16 and 14 m.N (11.80 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(g) Remove the adjustable strut.
(h) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (17).
(i) Connect the lever (17) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (17).
2 Put the lever (17) in position on the flap link arm (5).
(j) Install the bolt (10), washer (16) and nut (15).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-040 COTTER PIN (14).
(b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
.
(5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30).
(6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (15) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-061-J ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (17).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (17) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(d) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the threads of the nuts (18).
(e) Install the cover shell (1) with the bolts (2), (3) and (4) and the nuts (18).
(f) TORQUE the bolts (2), (3) and (4) to between 16 and 14 m.N (11.80 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (g) Remove the adjustable strut.
(h) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (17).
(i) Connect the lever (17) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (17).
2 Put the lever (17) in position on the flap link arm (5).
(j) Install the bolt (10), washer (16) and nut (15).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-040 COTTER PIN (14). (b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
. (5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30). (6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (15) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
C. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 2
(1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).
(d) Install the anti-rotation plate (42) on the bolts (43) and loosely install the nuts (41).
(e) Apply Release Agent-- Water Base - (Material No.14DAB1) on the holes of the bearing housings in the brackets (36).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the plain shank and flange of the bearing housing (34).
(g) If removed, install the collar (60):
1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) on the collar (60).
2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )

(m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )

(v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:
(a) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (17).
(b) Connect the lever (17) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (17).
2 Put the lever (17) in position on the flap link arm (5).
3 Install the bolt (10), washer (16) and nut (15).
(3) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and to the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(4) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(5) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-040 COTTER PIN (14).
(b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
.
(6) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30).
(7) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (15) and (31) after assembly.
(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the locking tools 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-053-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).

2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).

(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:

and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-31-030 COTTER PIN (10) or AIPC 27-54-85-34-110 COTTER PIN (10).(6) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 120 and 100 m.N (88.50 and 73.75 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-31-130 COTTER PIN (30) or AIPC 27-54-85-34-220 COTTER PIN (30). (7) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (7) and (33) and the nuts (9) and (31) after assembly.
(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
F. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 1
(1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (1).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (1) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Install a new AIPC 57-51-33-14-030 BUSH (14) and a new AIPC 57-51-33-14-010 LOCK PLATE (15) on the actuator lever (1).
(d) Install the special nut (16) on the actuator lever (1).
(e) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(f) Hold the No.1 flap track beam and use the 98D27507536000 SOCKET WRENCH - RETAINER NUT, TRACK 1 to TORQUE the special nut (16) to between 13 and 11.3 m.daN (95.87 and 83.33 lbf.ft )
.
(g) Safety the special nut (16) with the lock plate (15).
(h) Remove the adjustable strut.
(i) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (1).
(j) Connect the lever (1) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (1).
2 Put the lever (1) in position on the flap link arm (5).
3 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (10) and the nut (3).
4 Install the bolt (10), washer (4) and nut (3).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and to the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-035 COTTER PIN (2).
(b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
.
(5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-025 COTTER-PIN (30).
(6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (3) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-061-I ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (1).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (1) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Install a new AIPC 57-51-33-14-030 BUSH (14) and a new AIPC 57-51-33-14-010 LOCK PLATE (15) on the actuator lever (1).
(d) Install the special nut (16) on the actuator lever (1).
(e) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(f) Hold the No.1 flap track beam and use the 98D27507536000 SOCKET WRENCH - RETAINER NUT, TRACK 1 to TORQUE the special nut (16) to between 13 and 11.3 m.daN (95.87 and 83.33 lbf.ft )
. (g) Safety the special nut (16) with the lock plate (15).
(h) Remove the adjustable strut.
(i) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (1).
(j) Connect the lever (1) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (1).
2 Put the lever (1) in position on the flap link arm (5).
3 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (10) and the nut (3).
4 Install the bolt (10), washer (4) and nut (3).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and to the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-035 COTTER PIN (2). (b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
. (5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-025 COTTER-PIN (30). (6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (3) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
G. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 2
(1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).
(d) Install the anti-rotation plate (42) on the bolts (43) and loosely install the nuts (41).
(e) Apply Release Agent-- Water Base - (Material No.14DAB1) on the holes of the bearing housings in the brackets (36).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the plain shank and flange of the bearing housing (34).
(g) If removed, install the collar (60):
1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) on the collar (60).
2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:
(a) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (1).
(b) Connect the lever (1) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (1).
2 Put the lever (1) in position on the flap link arm (5).
3 Install the bolt (10), washer (4) and nut (3).
(3) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(4) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(5) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-035 COTTER PIN (2).
(b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )

(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the locking tools 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the Track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-053-I ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).
(d) Install the anti-rotation plate (42) on the bolts (43) and loosely install the nuts (41).
(e) Apply Release Agent-- Water Base - (Material No.14DAB1) on the holes of the bearing housings in the brackets (36).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the plain shank and flange of the bearing housing (34).
(g) If removed, install the collar (60):
1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) on the collar (60).
2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:
(a) Install the bushes (12) on the lever (1).
(b) Connect the lever (1) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Put and hold the packers (11) and (13) in position on the lever (1).
2 Put the lever (1) in position on the flap link arm (5).
3 Install the bolt (10), washer (4) and nut (3).
(3) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(4) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(5) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 18 and 16 m.N (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-035 COTTER PIN (2). (b) Install the indicator pin (9), indicator plate (8), washers (6) and bolts (7).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.N (15.04 and 13.27 lbf.in )
. (6) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-025 COTTER-PIN (30). (7) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (10) and (33) and the nuts (3) and (31) after assembly.
(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the locking tools 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the Track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
H. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 1
(1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (10).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (10) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(d) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the threads of the nuts (11).
(e) Install the cover shell (1) with the bolts (2), (3) and (4) and the nuts (11).
(f) TORQUE the bolts (2), (3) and (4) to between 16 and 14 m.N (11.80 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(g) Remove the adjustable strut.
(h) Connect the lever (10) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (6) and the nut (8).
2 Install the bolt (6), washer (7) and nut (8).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-150 COTTER PIN (9).
(5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30).
(6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (6) and (33) and the nuts (8) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-061-M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (10).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (10) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(d) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the threads of the nuts (11).
(e) Install the cover shell (1) with the bolts (2), (3) and (4) and the nuts (11).
(f) TORQUE the bolts (2), (3) and (4) to between 16 and 14 m.N (11.80 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (g) Remove the adjustable strut.
(h) Connect the lever (10) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (6) and the nut (8).
2 Install the bolt (6), washer (7) and nut (8).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(3) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(4) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-150 COTTER PIN (9). (5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30). (6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (6) and (33) and the nuts (8) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).
I. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 2
(1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).
(d) Install the anti-rotation plate (42) on the bolts (43) and loosely install the nuts (41).
(e) Apply Release Agent-- Water Base - (Material No.14DAB1) on the holes of the bearing housings in the brackets (36).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the plain shank and flange of the bearing housing (34).
(g) If removed, install the collar (60):
1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) on the collar (60).
2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )

(m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:
(a) Connect the lever (10) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (6) and the nut (8).
(b) Install the bolt (6), washer (7) and nut (8).
(3) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (33) and the nut (31).
2 Install the bolt (33), washer (29) and nut (31).
(4) Do a check of the flap rigged position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-00-820-003).
(5) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-150 COTTER PIN (9).
(6) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30).
(7) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (6) and (33) and the nuts (8) and (31) after assembly.
(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the locking tools 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
Subtask 27-54-55-420-053-M ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the track 2 position:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the bolts (43).
(b) Install the bolts (43) in the outboard bracket (36) with the bolt heads inboard.
(c) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the mating face of the anti-rotation plate (42).
(d) Install the anti-rotation plate (42) on the bolts (43) and loosely install the nuts (41).
(e) Apply Release Agent-- Water Base - (Material No.14DAB1) on the holes of the bearing housings in the brackets (36).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) on the plain shank and flange of the bearing housing (34).
(g) If removed, install the collar (60):
1 Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) on the collar (60).
2 Install the collar (60) on the lever (28).
(h) Make sure that the collar (60) is installed on the lever (28).
(i) Install the bearing housing (34) in the outboard bracket (36) and tighten the nuts (41).
(j) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the ring nut (40).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(k) Install the ring nut (40) on the bearing housing (34).
(l) Torque the ring nut (40) with the 98D27504028000 SPANNER-FLAP LEVER TRACKS 2 AND 3 to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (m) If necessary, drill a 2.5 mm (0.10 in.) hole for the cotter pin (37) in an applicable position on the bearing housing (34).
(n) Remove all unwanted material from the area.
(o) Safety the ring nut (40) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (37).
(p) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the lever (28).

(q) Turn the lever (28) 90 degrees and install it in the bearing housing (34).
(r) Install the bearing housing (26), bolt (25) and nut (44).
(s) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the retention plate (35) and on the bolt (27).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(t) Install the retention plate (35), bolt (27) and nut (39).
(u) TORQUE the nut (39) to between 15 and 14 m.N (11.06 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
. (v) Manually operate the lever (28) and make sure that it moves freely.
(w) Safety the nut (39) with the new AIPC 27-54-05-27-015 COTTER PIN (38).
(x) Remove the adjustable strut.
(2) At the track 1 position:

(5) At the track 1 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-150 COTTER PIN (9). (6) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 18 and 12 m.N (159.29 and 106.19 lbf.in )
and safety with a new AIPC 27-54-05-33-010 COTTER-PIN (30). (7) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (6) and (33) and the nuts (8) and (31) after assembly.
(8) Install the flap track-2 actuator 6211CM (6261CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-002).
(9) Remove the locking tools 98D27504030001 LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from the torque shaft outboard of the track 2 actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-003).
(10) Remove the hoisting sling (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-000-002).
J. Installation of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 1
(1) At the track 1 position:
(a) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the bearing surfaces of the actuator lever (10).
1 For the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(b) Install the actuator lever (10) into the No.1 flap-track beam.
(c) Connect the No.1 flap-track beam to the aircraft structure at the forward and the rear mountings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-33-400-001).
(d) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the threads of the nuts (11).
(e) Install the cover shell (1) with the bolts (2), (3) and (4) and the nuts (11).
(f) TORQUE the bolts (2), (3) and (4) to between 16 and 14 m.N (11.80 and 10.32 lbf.ft )
.
(g) Remove the adjustable strut.
(h) Connect the lever (10) to the flap link arm (5) as follows:
1 Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the bolt (6) and nut (8).
2 Install the bolt (6), washer (7) and nut (8).
(2) At the track 2 position:
(a) Connect the lever (28) to the flap link arm (32) as follows:

(5) At the track 2 position:
(a) TORQUE the nut (31) to between 23 and 18 m.N (16.96 and 13.27 lbf.ft )

(6) At tracks 1 and 2:
(a) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) on the bolts (6) and (33) and nuts (8) and (31) after assembly.
(7) Install the flap track-1 actuator 6205CM(6255CM) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-49-400-001).

N. Test
(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control-lever.
(2) Do an operational test of the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-00-710-001).
(3) Visually examine the inboard flap for correct operation during the retraction and extension of the flaps.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control-lever.
(2) Do an operational test of the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-00-710-001).
(3) Visually examine the inboard flap for correct operation during the retraction and extension of the flaps.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-400-001):
(4) Install the applicable access panel 573BB or 673BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-002).
Subtask 27-54-55-860-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-400-001):
- For the LH flap-actuator lever assembly, panels 193AB 193BB
- For the RH flap-actuator lever assembly, panels 194AB 194BB.
(4) Install the applicable access panel 573BB or 673BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-002).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable zone.
(3) Remove the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER from the piston rod of the servo-control.
(4) Fully retract the No. 1 Spoiler (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(a) On the servo-control, make sure that the pointer on the hex. head is opposite the letter O (Operation) on the housing.
(5) Install the No. 2 Flap-Track movable fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009)>. (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable zone.
(3) Remove the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER from the piston rod of the servo-control.
(4) Fully retract the No. 1 Spoiler (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(a) On the servo-control, make sure that the pointer on the hex. head is opposite the letter O (Operation) on the housing.
(5) Install the No. 2 Flap-Track movable fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
