MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(1) Make sure that the flaps are fully retracted (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below the applicable access panel, zone 573(673).

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-51-37-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Access Panels
(1) For the access panel 573AB(673AB) (6):
(a) Release the nine camloc fasteners (5) then remove the access panel (6).
(2) For the access panel 573BB(673BB) (4):
(a) Release the eight camloc fasteners (3) then remove the access panel (4).
(3) For the access panel 573CB(673CB) (2):
(a) Release the five camloc fasteners (1) then remove the access panel (2).
(4) For the access panel 573EB(673EB) (11):

NOTE: Record the position of the pipes for the installation procedure.

(a) Remove and discard the strip-protective (10).
(b) Remove the bolts (9), the plate clamp (8) and the plate (7).
(c) Remove the bolts (12) and the access panel (11).
(5) For the access panel 571AB(671AB) (15):
(a) Remove the nuts (13), the bolts (16) from the access panel (15).
(b) Remove the nut plate (14) and the access panel (15).

NOTE: Record the position of the pipes for the installation procedure.

(a) Remove the bolts (7) from the access panel (8).
(b) Remove the access panel (8).
(5) For the access panel 571AB(671AB)(11):
(a) Remove the nuts (9), the bolts (12) from the access panel (11).
(b) Remove the nut plate (10) and the access panel (11).
