B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(2) Drain the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.
Subtask 25-42-41-865-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(2) Drain the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.

D. Get Access
(1) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the door frame lining-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004).
(4) Remove the wall-mounted cabin attendant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(5) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(6) In the lavatory:
(a) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(b) Remove the toilet drain line behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(c) Remove the emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
(d) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the lavatory door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-001).
(2) Remove the ceiling panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the door frame lining-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004).
(4) Remove the wall-mounted cabin attendant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(5) Remove the passenger seat adjacent to the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(6) In the lavatory:
(a) Remove the toilet assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(b) Remove the toilet drain line behind the lavatory (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-010-002).
(c) Remove the emergency oxygen container 31WR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
(d) Remove the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).
Subtask 25-42-41-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Upper Connections
(1) Disconnect electrical connector 7208VC-A (11) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (11).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Disconnect the air extraction hose (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the clamps (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (3).
(b) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-42-41-020-053-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect electrical connector 7208VC-A (11) as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (11).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Disconnect the air extraction hose (3) as follows:
(a) Remove the clamps (2) and disconnect the air extraction hose (3).
(b) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
B. Removal of the Lower Connections
(2) If necessary, push up the insulation (3).
(3) Disconnect the potable water connections:
(a) Remove the nut (5), the washer (6) and disconnect the bonding straps (4).
(b) Loosen the nut (1) and disconnect the potable water tube (2) from the fitting (7).
(c) Loosen the nuts (1) and remove the potable water hose (8).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connection:
(b) Loosen the clamps (14) and (16) and disconnect sleeve (15) from the drain tube (9).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-42-41-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) in position below the water connections that you will disconnect. (2) If necessary, push up the insulation (3).
(3) Disconnect the potable water connections:
(a) Remove the nut (5), the washer (6) and disconnect the bonding straps (4).
(b) Loosen the nut (1) and disconnect the potable water tube (2) from the fitting (7).
(c) Loosen the nuts (1) and remove the potable water hose (8).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connection:
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARK ON THE WASTE WATER AND AIR OUTLET HOSES AND ON THEIR RELATED CONNECTIONS.
IF YOU CONNECT ONE OF THESE HOSES TO THE CONNECTION OF THE OTHER HOSE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Remove the bolt (10), the washer(s) (11), the nut (13) and the clamp (12). (b) Loosen the clamps (14) and (16) and disconnect sleeve (15) from the drain tube (9).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
C. Removal of the Upper Attachments
(1) Remove the access panel (1).
Subtask 25-42-41-020-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the access panel (1).
NOTE: Ball catches hold the access panel in position.
(2) Remove the quick release pins (2) and the tie-rod assembly (4). D. Removal of the Lower Attachments and the Lavatory Module
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the screws (10) and the door sill (9).
(3) Remove the lavatory module as follows:
(a) Remove the covers (4).
(b) Remove the bolts (8), washers (7) and bushes (6) and (5).
(c) Carefully lift the lavatory module away from the seat track fittings (3).
(d) Remove the screws (1), stop washers (2) and seat track fittings (3).
Subtask 25-42-41-020-056-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the screws (10) and the door sill (9).
(3) Remove the lavatory module as follows:
(a) Remove the covers (4).
(b) Remove the bolts (8), washers (7) and bushes (6) and (5).
(c) Carefully lift the lavatory module away from the seat track fittings (3).
(d) Remove the screws (1), stop washers (2) and seat track fittings (3).
E. Disassembly of the Lavatory Module
(1) Disconnect the electrical connections:
(a) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(c) Remove and discard the cable ties (15) from the mounts (14).
(d) Remove and discard the cable ties (13) from the cable assemblies (12) and (8), if necessary.
(e) Remove the screws (6), the washers (7) and the bracket (5).
(f) Disconnect the electrical connectors from the flush switch (2).
(g) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(h) Remove and discard the cable ties (10) from the mounts (11).
(i) Temporarily attach the cable assembly (9) to the top of the ceiling panel (1).
(j) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(2) Disconnect the lavatory ventilation hose:
(a) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (10).
(b) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (4).
(c) Remove the screw (6), the washer (7), the spacer (12) and the clamp (5).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Disassemble the lavatory module:
(a) Remove the sealant from around the floor pan assembly (7).
(b) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(c) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(d) Lift and remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) from the floor pan assembly (7).
(e) Remove the screws (14), (18) and (20) and the washers (17) and (19).
(f) Remove the screw (21).
(g) Remove the screws (15) and the washers (16).
(h) Remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) from the aircraft.
(i) If installed, remove the screws (8) from the floor angle brackets (9).
(j) If installed, remove the rubber strips (10), (12) and (13) from the floor panel (11).
(k) Remove the floor pan assembly (7).
(l) Remove the floor panel (11).
(m) Remove the sealant (MAT. NO. 09-016) from around the floor pan assembly (7) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(n) Put the safety barriers in position.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connections:
(a) Open the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(c) Remove and discard the cable ties (15) from the mounts (14).
(d) Remove and discard the cable ties (13) from the cable assemblies (12) and (8), if necessary.
(e) Remove the screws (6), the washers (7) and the bracket (5).
(f) Disconnect the electrical connectors from the flush switch (2).
(g) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(h) Remove and discard the cable ties (10) from the mounts (11).
(i) Temporarily attach the cable assembly (9) to the top of the ceiling panel (1).
(j) Close the sanitary-cabinet access door (3).
(2) Disconnect the lavatory ventilation hose:
(a) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (10).
(b) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (4).
(c) Remove the screw (6), the washer (7), the spacer (12) and the clamp (5).
(d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Disassemble the lavatory module:
(a) Remove the sealant from around the floor pan assembly (7).
(b) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(c) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(d) Lift and remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) from the floor pan assembly (7).
(e) Remove the screws (14), (18) and (20) and the washers (17) and (19).
(f) Remove the screw (21).
(g) Remove the screws (15) and the washers (16).
(h) Remove the lavatory assemblies (1) and (2) from the aircraft.
(i) If installed, remove the screws (8) from the floor angle brackets (9).
(j) If installed, remove the rubber strips (10), (12) and (13) from the floor panel (11).
(k) Remove the floor pan assembly (7).
(l) Remove the floor panel (11).
(m) Remove the sealant (MAT. NO. 09-016) from around the floor pan assembly (7) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(n) Put the safety barriers in position.
