   (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring

B. Depressurization of the Hydraulic Reservoirs
   (1) For engine 1, depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (2) For engine 2, depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).
4. Procedure
Subtask 78-31-49-420-176-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the TRAS Tee-Piece
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Install the TRAS tee-piece (1) on the pylon floor.
     (a) Clean the mating surfaces of the bolt (4), washer (5) and tee-piece (1) with a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) and PU2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent.
     (b) Remove the alcohol with a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) before it dries.
     (c) Lightly abrade the mating surfaces of the bolt (4), washer (5) and tee-piece (1) with abrasive pad (Material No.PU1-0006)
       1 Make sure that you do not abrade the threads of the bolt (4).
     (d) Clean again the mating surfaces of the bolt (4), washer (5) and tee-piece (1) with a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) and PU2-0001alcohol, isopropyl or equivalent.
     (e) Remove the alcohol with a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) before it dries.
     (f) Install the tee-piece (1) to the brackets on the pylon floor with bolts (2) and (4), washers (3) and (5).
     (g) TORQUE the bolts (2) and (4) to between 93.8 and 72.5 lbf.in (1.06 and 0.82 m.daN ) T.
     (h) Measure the resistance at the bolt (4).
       1 Make sure that it is less than 0.010 ohm. If the resistance is more than 0.010 ohm, repeat steps 4.A.(1).(a) thru 4.A.(1).(g).
     (i) Apply the varnish-blue (Material No.
PU4-0001) on the head of the bolt (4).
     (j) Connect the TRAS hydraulic lines to the tee-piece (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-50-400-801).
       1 Connect the two hydraulic stow hoses to the tee-piece (1).
       2 Connect the two hydraulic deploy hoses to the tee-piece (1).
       3 Connect the two hydraulic return hoses to the tee-piece (1).
     (k) Connect the pylon hydraulic lines to the tee-piece (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-51-400-803).
       1 Connect the hydraulic stow tube to the tee-piece (1).
       2 Connect the hydraulic deploy tube to the tee-piece (1).
       3 Connect the hydraulic return tube to the tee-piece (1).
5. Close-up

A. Do the reactivation of the thrust reverser system after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-805).

B. Pressurization of the Hydraulic Reservoir
   (1) For engine 1, pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (2) For engine 2, pressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (3) Make sure that there is no leaks at the tube connections.

C. Do the operational test
   (1) Do the operational test and bleeding of the thrust reverser (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-805).

E. Leak Check
   (1) Make sure that there is no leakage from the hoses or the connections of the TRAS tee piece.

F. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
