MAKE SURE THAT THE PUMPS CAN NOT OPERATE AUTOMATICALLY. THIS IS TO PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN YOU ENERGIZE THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
(1) The HYD/BLUE/ELEC PUMP pushbutton switch is released. (2) The HYD/YELLOW/ELEC PUMP pushbutton switch is pushed.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off (the pushbutton switch is pushed in).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM display units only). (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
Subtask 78-31-00-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off (the pushbutton switch is pushed in).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM display units only). (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
E. Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

(1) Disconnect the two connectors (channel A and channel B) from the N2 speed sensor. For the N2 speed sensor location, (Ref. AMM TASK 77-11-20-000-002)

G. Install a Low Frequency Generator:

MAKE SURE THAT THE LOW FREQUENCY GENERATOR AND ITS WIRING ARE NOT IN THE DEPLOYMENT RANGE OF THE THRUST REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Connect a GENERATOR - LOW FREQUENCY, (sinusoidal waveform, output voltage 10/15 volts) across the terminals 2(+) and 1(-). Subtask 78-31-00-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGE OF THE THRUST REVERSER IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

A. On the accessory gearbox of the engine 1(2):
(1) Disconnect the low frequency generator.

B. Connect the two connectors to the N2 speed sensor (channel A and channel B). Tighten them with your hand plus one eight of a turn with the PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
