A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE FWD AVIONICS ACCESS DOOR 811 IS OPEN WITH A WARNING PLACARD ATTACHED TO IT. THE WARNING NOTICE MUST TELL PERSONS NOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR. THIS PREVENTS ACCIDENTAL PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT.
   (1) When you operate the air conditioning make sure that the access door 811 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
   (2) Install a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the access door 811 to tell persons not to close the access door 811.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On AIR COND overhead panel 30VU:
  • Release the PACK 1 and PACK 2 P/BSWs (the OFF legends come on).
  • Make sure that the X-bleed selector switch is in the AUTO position.

D. Get Access
   (1) Open the access door 191DB.
   (2) Connect the GROUND AIR-SUPPLY UNIT(HIGH PRESSURE) to the aircraft HP Ground Connector (7300HM).
4. Procedure
Subtask 36-12-00-860-075-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Pressurization of the Bleed System through the HP Ground Connector
   (1) Start the ground air-supply unit and make sure that:
  • The airflow is between 54 kg.min (119.0496 lb.min) and 78 kg.min (171.9605 lb.min).
  • The supplied air pressure is not more than 60 psi (4.14 bar).
  • The supplied air temperature is not more than 260 deg.C (500.00 deg.F).
   (2) On the ECAM control panel, push the BLEED key (the BLEED page comes into view).
   (3) On the AIR BLEED page of the ECAM lower DU, make sure that all the shown indications are normal (i.e. green indication).
   (4) When the pressurization of the bleed system is not necessary, stop the air supply.
5. Close-up
Subtask 36-12-00-410-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Disconnect the GROUND AIR-SUPPLY UNIT(HIGH PRESSURE) from the aircraft HP Ground Connector (7300HM).
   (2) Close the access door 191DB.
Subtask 36-12-00-860-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the AIR COND overhead panel 30VU:
  • Push the PACK 1 and PACK 2 P/BSWs (the OFF legends go off)
  • Make sure that the X-bleed selector switch is in the AUTO position.
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only). (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 36-12-00-942-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (2) Close the access door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
