Subtask 36-11-55-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that engine 1(2) is shutdown for a minimum of 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
Subtask 36-11-55-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that engine 1(2) is shutdown for a minimum of 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton-switch is off.
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 36-11-55-420-051-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Bleed-Pressure-Regulator Valve Control-Solenoid
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in the ambient conditions.
(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Install a new AIPC 36-11-06-06-060 O-RING (5) on the solenoid (8).
(8) Install the solenoid (8) on its support (6).
(9) Install the nut plate (4).
(10) Install the washers (11), the bolts (3) and (10).
(11) TORQUE the bolts (3) and (10) to between 1.6 and 1.32 m.daN (141.59 and 116.81 lbf.in )
.
(12) Do the steps that follow to connect the sense lines (1) and (2):
(a) Make sure that the sense lines (1) and (2) and the unions (12) and (13) are serviceable.
(b) Remove the blanking plugs from the unions (12) and (13).
(d) Remove the blanking plugs from the sense lines (1) and (2).
(e) Connect the sense lines (1) and (2) to the unions (12) and (13).
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
14QEB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.6 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(15) Connect the connector (9) to the solenoid (8).
(16) Make sure that you tightened all the couplings correctly.
Subtask 36-11-55-420-051-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-006)
- For 131-9(A) APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in the ambient conditions.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Install a new AIPC 36-11-06-06-060 O-RING (5) on the solenoid (8).
(8) Install the solenoid (8) on its support (6).
(9) Install the nut plate (4).
(10) Install the washers (11), the bolts (3) and (10).
(11) TORQUE the bolts (3) and (10) to between 1.6 and 1.32 m.daN (141.59 and 116.81 lbf.in )
.(12) Do the steps that follow to connect the sense lines (1) and (2):
(a) Make sure that the sense lines (1) and (2) and the unions (12) and (13) are serviceable.
(b) Remove the blanking plugs from the unions (12) and (13).
CAUTION:
APPLY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF GREASE TO THE THREADS OF THE HOSE-ASSEMBLY COUPLING NUTS, AND REMOVE THE UNWANTED GREASE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY. IF YOU USE TOO MUCH GREASE, IT CAN CAUSE CLOGGING OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY OR DAMAGE TO THE RELATED COMPONENTS.
(c) Apply a thin layer of Dry lubricant-General Assembly Molybdenum Disulfide & Silicone - (Material No.03QBC1) or Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threads of the unions (12) and (13). (d) Remove the blanking plugs from the sense lines (1) and (2).
(e) Connect the sense lines (1) and (2) to the unions (12) and (13).
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(13) TORQUE the sense lines (1) and (2) to between 1.63 and 1.52 m.daN (12.02 and 11.21 lbf.ft )
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(14) Safety the sense lines (1) and (2) with (15) Connect the connector (9) to the solenoid (8).
(16) Make sure that you tightened all the couplings correctly.
A. Installation of the Bleed-Pressure-Regulator Valve Control-Solenoid

(15) Connect the connector (13) to the solenoid (10).
(16) Make sure that you tightened all the couplings correctly.

(c) Apply a thin layer of Dry lubricant-General Assembly Molybdenum Disulfide & Silicone - (Material No.03QBC1) or Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threads of the unions (14) and (4). (d) Remove the blanking plugs from the sense lines (1) and (3).
(e) Connect the sense lines (1) and (3) to the unions (14) and (4).
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(13) TORQUE the sense lines (1) and (3) to between 1.63 and 1.52 m.daN (12.02 and 11.21 lbf.ft )
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001). WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(14) Safety the sense lines (1) and (3) with (15) Connect the connector (13) to the solenoid (10).
(16) Make sure that you tightened all the couplings correctly.
B. Do this test
(1) Do the functional test of the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-55-720-001).
(2) Remove the warning notice from the HP ground connector.
(4) Make sure that there are no leaks at the junction between the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid and the duct on the related engine (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do the functional test of the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-55-720-001).
(2) Remove the warning notice from the HP ground connector.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU PRESSURIZE THE BLEED SYSTEM THROUGH THE HP GROUND CONNECTOR, MAKE SURE THAT THE 30 PSI (2.07 BAR) SUPPLIED PRESSURE IS STABLE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(3) Pressurize the bleed system through the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-002) or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-001). (4) Make sure that there are no leaks at the junction between the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid and the duct on the related engine (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
