Subtask 35-11-41-860-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) At the support of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8):
(a) Make sure that the lower pad (9) is in the correct condition.
(b) Make sure that the clamps (3) and (6) are in the correct condition.
(4) At the support of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20):
(a) Make sure that the lower pad (21) is in the correct condition.
(b) Make sure that the clamps (15) and (18) are in the correct condition.
(5) FOR [5750HM1] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) Make sure that the date on the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) is not expired and that the cylinder is serviceable.
(b) Make sure that the protective bands (7) are in the correct condition.
(c) Do a visual inspection of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) and make sure that there is no damage:
1 Abrasion (because of wear, grinding or rubbing)
2 Cuts
3 Dents
4 Delamination
5 Heat or fire damage
6 Structural damage
7 Chemical damage.
(d) Carefully put the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) on its support.
(e) Turn the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) in the correct position.
(f) Make sure that the position of the protective bands (7) agrees with the position of the clamps (3) and (6).
(g) Engage the two pins (4) in the hooks of their clamps (3).
(h) TORQUE the nuts (5) to between 0.39 and 0.28 m.daN (34.51 and 24.78 lbf.in )

(i) Put a red paint mark on the nuts (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(j) Remove the stowage cap (30) from the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(k) Put the stowage cap (30) in the bag (29).
(l) Remove the end of the overboard discharge hose (10) from the BAG - VINYL.
(m) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN from the union (11).
(n) Put a new AIPC 35-12-81-09-010 RING (12) or AIPC 35-12-81-09-013 RING (12) or AIPC 35-12-81-09-015 RING (12) in position on the overboard discharge connector (27).
(o) Connect the union (11) on the overboard discharge connector (27) but only on the first thread.
(p) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the overboard discharge connector (27).
(q) Tighten the union (11) with your hand.
(r) TORQUE the union (11) to between 2.7 and 1.9 m.daN (19.91 and 14.01 lbf.ft )

(s) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the overboard discharge connector (27) and the union (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(t) Remove the TIE WRAP(S) from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1).
(u) Remove the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1) from the BAG - VINYL.
(v) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1).
(w) Put the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1) in position on the oxygen supply outlet (31) of the valve assy (28).
(x) Connect the union (2) to the oxygen supply outlet (31) but only on the first thread.
(y) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(z) Tighten the union (2) with your hand.
(aa) TORQUE the nut (2) to between 8.0 and 7.0 m.daN (59.00 and 51.62 lbf.ft )

(ab) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the oxygen supply outlet (31) and the nut (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(6) FOR [5750HM2] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) Make sure that the date on the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) is not expired and that the cylinder is serviceable.
(b) Make sure that the protective bands (19) are in the correct condition.
(c) Do a visual inspection of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) and make sure that there is no damage:
1 Abrasion (because of wear, grinding or rubbing)
2 Cuts
3 Dents
4 Delamination
5 Heat or fire damage
6 Structural damage
7 Chemical damage.
(d) Carefully put the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) on its support.
(e) Turn the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) in the correct position.
(f) Make sure that the position of the protective bands (19) agrees with the position of the clamps (15) and (18).
(g) Engage the two pins (17) in the hooks of their clamps (15).
(h) TORQUE the nuts (16) to between 0.39 and 0.28 m.daN (34.51 and 24.78 lbf.in )

(i) Put a red paint mark on the nuts (16) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(j) Remove the stowage cap (30) from the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(k) Put the stowage cap (30) in the bag (29).
(l) Remove the end of the overboard discharge hose (23) from the BAG - VINYL.
(m) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN from the union (22).
(n) Put a new AIPC 35-12-81-11-030 RING FOR FLARED TUBE (24) in position on the overboard discharge connector (27).
(o) Connect the union (22) on the overboard discharge connector (27) but only on the first thread.
(p) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the overboard discharge connector (27).
(q) Tighten the union (22) with your hand.
(r) TORQUE the union (22) to between 2.7 and 1.9 m.daN (19.91 and 14.01 lbf.ft )

(s) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the overboard discharge connector (27) and the union (22) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(t) Remove the TIE WRAP(S) from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (13).
(u) Remove the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (13) from the BAG - VINYL.
(v) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (13).
(w) Put the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (13) in position on the oxygen supply outlet (31) of the valve assy (28).
(x) Connect the union (14) to the oxygen supply outlet (31) but only on the first thread.
(y) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(z) Tighten the union (14) with your hand.
(aa) TORQUE the nut (14) to between 8.0 and 7.0 m.daN (59.00 and 51.62 lbf.ft )

(ab) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the oxygen supply outlet (31) and the nut (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).

DO NOT FILL OR REPLACE A CREW OXYGEN CYLINDER OR REPLACE A VALVE ASSEMBLY ON THE CREW OXYGEN SYSTEM WHEN YOU FUEL OR DEFUEL THE AIRCRAFT.
KEEP ALL HYDROCARBONS (FUELS, LUBRICANTS, ETC.) AWAY FROM ALL SOURCES OF OXYGEN. OXYGEN BECOMES EXPLOSIVE WHEN IT TOUCHES HYDROCARBONS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized

(3) In the cockpit, on the OXYGEN section of overhead control and indicating panel 21VU:
(5) Make sure that access door 812 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
Subtask 35-11-41-865-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE GASEOUS OXYGEN SYSTEM, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE APPLICABLE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Obey the special precautions when you do work on a gaseous oxygen system (Ref. AMM TASK 35-00-00-860-001). (2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) In the cockpit, on the OXYGEN section of overhead control and indicating panel 21VU:
- Make sure that the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to push the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch.
(5) Make sure that access door 812 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

. (s) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the overboard discharge connector (27) and the union (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(t) Remove the TIE WRAP(S) from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1).
(u) Remove the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1) from the BAG - VINYL.

(w) Put the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (1) in position on the oxygen supply outlet (31) of the valve assy (28).
(x) Connect the union (2) to the oxygen supply outlet (31) but only on the first thread.
(y) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(z) Tighten the union (2) with your hand.
(aa) TORQUE the nut (2) to between 8.0 and 7.0 m.daN (59.00 and 51.62 lbf.ft )
. (ab) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the oxygen supply outlet (31) and the nut (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(6) FOR [5750HM2] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)

(m) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN from the union (22).
(n) Put a new AIPC 35-12-81-11-030 RING FOR FLARED TUBE (24) in position on the overboard discharge connector (27).
(o) Connect the union (22) on the overboard discharge connector (27) but only on the first thread.
(p) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the overboard discharge connector (27).
(q) Tighten the union (22) with your hand.
(r) TORQUE the union (22) to between 2.7 and 1.9 m.daN (19.91 and 14.01 lbf.ft )
. (s) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the overboard discharge connector (27) and the union (22) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(t) Remove the TIE WRAP(S) from the oxygen pressure-regulator transmitter (13).

(x) Connect the union (14) to the oxygen supply outlet (31) but only on the first thread.
(y) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) on the three next threads of the oxygen supply outlet (31).
(z) Tighten the union (14) with your hand.
(aa) TORQUE the nut (14) to between 8.0 and 7.0 m.daN (59.00 and 51.62 lbf.ft )
. (ab) Put a red paint mark on the connection between the oxygen supply outlet (31) and the nut (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
B. Leak Test
(1) FOR [5750HM1] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) Turn the manual shutoff valve (25) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) very slowly until it is fully open.
(b) Apply the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the mechanical connections.
(c) Examine each connection to make sure that there are no leaks.
(d) Remove the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) FOR [5750HM2] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) Turn the manual shutoff valve (25) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) very slowly until it is fully open.
(b) Apply the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the mechanical connections.
(c) Examine each connection to make sure that there are no leaks.
(d) Remove the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 35-11-41-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) FOR [5750HM1] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) Turn the manual shutoff valve (25) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM1) (8) very slowly until it is fully open.

(a) Turn the manual shutoff valve (25) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder (5750HM2) (20) very slowly until it is fully open.
(b) Apply the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the mechanical connections.
(c) Examine each connection to make sure that there are no leaks.
(d) Remove the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Check of the position of the manual shutoff valves
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) In the avionics compartment, on the two manual shutoff valves (25):

CAUTION:
TURN THE HANDVALVES ON ALL OXYGEN BOTTLES UNTIL THEY ARE FULLY OPEN. IF THE HANDVALVES ARE NOT FULLY OPEN BEFORE FLIGHT, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE OXYGEN PRESSURE DATA ON THE ECAM DOOR/OXY PAGE WILL NOT BE CORRECT.
(a) Make sure that the two manual shutoff valves (25) are fully open. (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) In the avionics compartment, on the two manual shutoff valves (25):
- Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
- Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Close Access
(1) Close access door 812 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
