3. Job Set-up

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is on the panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) is in position below the applicable zone 534 or 634.
   (2) Make sure that the navigation light glazing panel (1) has been removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-12-000-802).
4. Procedure
Subtask 33-41-11-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Make sure the electrical connector is in the correct condition.
Subtask 33-41-11-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Wingtip Navigation Light with Halogen Lamp
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
   (1) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (2).
   (2) Put the navigation light (3) in position and connect the electrical connector (2).
   (3) Install the navigation light (3) with the washers (4) and the bolts (5), (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

C. Installation of the Wingtip Navigation Light with LED Lamp
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
   (1) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (2).
   (2) Clean the electrical connector (2) with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (3) Put the navigation light (3) in position and connect the electrical connector (2).
   (4) Apply a continuous layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the electrical connector (2).
   (5) Install the navigation light (3) with the washers (4) and the bolts (5), (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

   (1) Do an operational test of the navigation lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-00-710-001).

   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the wingtip glazing panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-12-400-802).

C. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
