(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below the applicable wing tip, zone 534(634).

(1) Remove the bolts (4).
(2) Remove the glazing panel (5).

A. Removal of the Navigation-Light Glazing Panel
(1) Remove the bolts (7).
(2) Remove the glazing panel (8).
(3) If necessary, remove the seal (6) from the aircraft structure/component interface.
