C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On panel 110VU:
  • Make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is set to ON.
   (2) On right center instrument-panel 400VU:
  • Make sure that the brake pressure indication on the Yellow brake-pressure triple indicator is correct.
  • If necessary, pressurize the brake accumulator with the yellow pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).

D. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-41-00-440-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Reactivation of the Main Wheel Hubcap
F Main Wheel Hubcap ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Install the applicable MLG tachometer drive shaft (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-68-400-003).
   (2) Apply a thin layer of Grease-Thread Anti-seize Graphited and Petrolatum - (Material No.03LBB1) to the tachometer drive shaft (2).
   (3) Do the functional test of the tachometer (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-720-002).
   (4) Install the hubcap (7) on the wheel axle (1).
   (5) Make sure that the pin in the hubcap (7) is correctly engaged in a hole of the main gear wheel.
     (a) Make sure that the hubcap (7) is installed in the correct angular position.
   (6) Put the clamp (5) in position on the hub cap (7).
   (7) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 3.4 and 2.8 m.N (30.09 and 24.78 lbf.in ) T.
   (8) Do the reactivation of the applicable main wheel brake (
Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-440-003).
Subtask 32-41-00-740-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. BITE Test
   (1) BITE test of the EFCS
     (a) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
     (b) Set the related SEC(s).
       1 FOR [19GG] (TACHOMETER-WHEEL 1), [22GG] (TACHOMETER-WHEEL 4)
         a On overhead panel 24VU:
  • Release FLT CTL SEC 2 pushbutton switch, then push it in.
  • Release FLT CTL SEC 3 pushbutton switch, then push it in.
       2 FOR [20GG] (TACHOMETER-WHEEL 3), [21GG] (TACHOMETER-WHEEL 2)
  • On overhead panel 23VU, release FLT CTL SEC 1 pushbutton switch, then push it in.
     (c) Do the BITE test of the EFCS computers (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-00-740-001).
     (d) Make sure that the MCDU shows no maintenance message related to the tachometer.
     (e) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
5. Close-up
