MAKE SURE THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL SAFETY-LOCKS AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.

(1) Install the applicable tachometer (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-57-400-001):
(a) FOR [2678GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 4)
install 22GG.
(b) FOR [2679GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 3)
install 20GG.
(c) FOR [2680GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 2)
install 21GG.
(d) FOR [2681GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 1)
install 19GG.
5. Close-up(1) Install the applicable tachometer (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-57-400-001):
(a) FOR [2678GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 4)
install 22GG.
(b) FOR [2679GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 3)
install 20GG.
(c) FOR [2680GM] (DRIVE ASSY-TACHOMETER,WHEEL 2)

NOTE: When you install the tachometers you will install the tachometer drives.
