E. Do this Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system:
  • operate the hand pump through 3 or 4 cycles to pressurize the manual selector valve.
On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system:
  • there are no leaks from the manual selector valve or from the pipe connection at the port marked A of the manual selector valve.

NOTE: A pressure relief valve in the fill selector valve will operate if too much pressure is put into the system. If this happens, a small amount of fluid will go into the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.

2.On the manual selector valve 1134GQ:
  • set the selector switch to BLUE.
On the reservoir quantity indicator 1834GQ:
  • the blue indicator light comes on.
3.On the hand pump 1009GM:

  • operate the hand pump between 5 and 10 strokes.
On the reservoir quantity indicator 1834GQ:
  • the needle of the reservoir quantity indicator shows the contents of the Blue reservoir.
  • there are no leaks from the pipe connection at the port marked B of the manual selector valve.

NOTE: When the hand pump is operated between 5 and 10 strokes, a small quantity of fluid (between 200 and 400 ml) will go into the selected reservoir.

4.Do the steps 2 and 3 again for the Yellow system.
The same result as in the steps 2 and 3, for the Yellow reservoir.
5.Do the steps 2 and 3 again for the Green system.
The same result as in the steps 2 and 3, for the Green reservoir.
6.On the manual selector valve 1134GQ:
  • set the selector switch of the manual selector valve to NEUTRAL.
On the reservoir quantity indicator 1834GQ:
  • the Green indicator light goes off.
  • the needle of the reservoir quantity indicator does not show the reservoir contents.
5. Close-up
