C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems and put them in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
(5) Remove the blanking cap from the reservoir-pressurization ground connector (referred to as ground connector) on the reservoir pressurization unit 1360GM.
(6) Connect the 98D29003501000 FILL UNIT-AIR PRESSURIZING TOOL, HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR or 98D29003501003 FILL UNIT - AIR to the ground connector.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems and put them in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems:
- In the flight compartment near the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel.
- On the ground service panels of the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems.
NOTE: If the pressurizing tool is not available, you can use an alternative air supply. The supply must have a pressure of 5 bar (73 psi) and it must have a filter. The rating of the filter must be 5 microns or better.
As alternative to the air source, you can use the nitrogen source with 97A29102035000 CONNECTOR-PRESSURIZING,HYDRAULIC TANK.
(7) Open the ground connector. As alternative to the air source, you can use the nitrogen source with 97A29102035000 CONNECTOR-PRESSURIZING,HYDRAULIC TANK.
