A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that you removed all equipment from the center ceiling stowage-compartment (4).
   (3) Make sure that you removed the emergency light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Center Ceiling Stowage-Compartment
WARNING: YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN HOLD THE COMPONENT BEFORE YOU REMOVE/INSTALL IT. THE COMPONENT IS HEAVY. IF IT FALLS, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (2) If necessary, adjust the tie rods (7), (9) and (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-820-801).
   (3) Carefully put the center ceiling stowage-compartment (4) and the tie rods (7) in position and install the quick-release pins (6).
   (4) Put the tie rods (9) in position and install the quick-release pins (8).
   (5) Put the tie rods (10) in position and install the clips (11).
   (6) Open the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3) as follows:
NOTE: The center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3) locks at the 40-degree position.
     (a) Fully open the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3).
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
     (b) Remove and discard the cotter pins (21) from the bolts (20).
     (c) Remove the washers (22) and disengage the dampers (23) from the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3).
     (d) Open the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3) accurately at the 70-degree position.
NOTE: The override ceiling stowage flap must not be more than 70-degrees.
     (e) Release the quick-release pins (18) from the dampers (19).
   (7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (9) Connect the electrical connectors (5).
   (10) Put the covers (1) in position and install the screws (2).
   (11) Tighten the screws (2).
   (12) Close the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3) as follows:
     (a) Put the dampers (19) in position and install the quick-release pins (18).
     (b) Engage the dampers (23) to the bolts (20) on the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3).
     (c) Install the washers (22) on the bolts (20) and safety the bolts (20) with the new AIPC 25-24-89-95-050 COTTER PINS (21).
     (d) Close the center-ceiling stowage-compartment door (3).
   (13) Install the adjacent ceiling panels (
Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
   (14) Put the ceiling panels (16) in position on the latches (15).
   (15) Move the ceiling panels (16) as far as possible to the OHSCs.
   (16) Pull the ceiling panels (16) down to lock the pins (17) into the brackets.
   (17) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (18) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (19) Connect the electrical connectors (14).
   (20) Close the access doors (12) in the OHSCs and lock the fasteners (13).
   (21) Close the bins of the adjacent OHSCs.

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install all items of equipment on the center ceiling stowage-compartment (4).
   (3) Install the emergency light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-11-400-001).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

C. Operational Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the cabin LED lamps with Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-035).
   (2) Do the operational test of the lavatory lighted signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-26-00-710-001).
   (3) Do the operational test of the emergency lighting in the cabin (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-00-710-008).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
