Subtask 25-23-47-860-088-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure you did the special precautions before work on the offwing escape-slide systems (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-481-001).
(3) Make sure that the seats are removed as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the related overwing emergency exit is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-802).
(5) Make sure that the related emergency exit markers are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the related emergency exit signs are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the related slide arm indicator-light is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-802).
(8) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(9) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(10) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure you did the special precautions before work on the offwing escape-slide systems (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-481-001).
(3) Make sure that the seats are removed as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the related overwing emergency exit is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-802).
(5) Make sure that the related emergency exit markers are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the related emergency exit signs are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the related slide arm indicator-light is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-802).
(8) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(9) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(10) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 25-23-47-420-141-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Frame Lining of the Overwing Emergency Exit
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the panels (8) in position on the brackets (1) and engage the yo-yo rollers (13) on the brackets (12).
(3) Put the washers (10) in position and install the screws (11).
(4) Tighten the screws (11).
(5) Put the panel (2) in position on the brackets (1) and engage the yo-yo rollers (13) on the brackets (12).
(6) Put the washers (3) and (4) in position and install the screws (5).
(7) Tighten the screws (5).
(8) Put the cover-ring (6) in position and make sure that it is correctly engaged.
(9) Install the decor-ring (7) on the cover-ring (6):
(b) Put the decor-ring (7) on the window basin a small distance above center.
(c) Bend the upper part of the decor-ring (7) a little distance inboard and push it down at the same time.
(d) If necessary, move the decor-ring (7) a small distance to the left and right, while you push the decor-ring (7) down.
(e) Make sure that the two middle guides lock in position, the lower guide locks automatically.
(f) When the decor-ring (7) is pushed fully down, apply a light force outboard to the upper snap guides until they lock.
(10) Install the lining strips (9).
5. Close-up(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put the panels (8) in position on the brackets (1) and engage the yo-yo rollers (13) on the brackets (12).
(3) Put the washers (10) in position and install the screws (11).
(4) Tighten the screws (11).
(5) Put the panel (2) in position on the brackets (1) and engage the yo-yo rollers (13) on the brackets (12).
(6) Put the washers (3) and (4) in position and install the screws (5).
(7) Tighten the screws (5).
(8) Put the cover-ring (6) in position and make sure that it is correctly engaged.
(9) Install the decor-ring (7) on the cover-ring (6):
CAUTION:
DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE PLASTIC PARTS WITH TOO MUCH FORCE. PUSH OR PULL THEM ONLY IN THE SPECIFIED DIRECTION. IF YOU PUSH OR PULL THEM IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OR WITH TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE OR BREAK THE PLASTIC PARTS.
(a) Pull the window blind a small distance down. (b) Put the decor-ring (7) on the window basin a small distance above center.
(c) Bend the upper part of the decor-ring (7) a little distance inboard and push it down at the same time.
(d) If necessary, move the decor-ring (7) a small distance to the left and right, while you push the decor-ring (7) down.
(e) Make sure that the two middle guides lock in position, the lower guide locks automatically.
(f) When the decor-ring (7) is pushed fully down, apply a light force outboard to the upper snap guides until they lock.
(10) Install the lining strips (9).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-400-001).
(3) Close the related overwing emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-802).
(4) Install the related emergency exit markers (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-400-001).
(5) Install the related emergency exit signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-400-001).
(6) Install the related slide arm indicator-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-400-802).
(7) Do the special precautions after work on the offwing escape-slide systems (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-081-001).
(8) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-400-001).
(3) Close the related overwing emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-802).
(4) Install the related emergency exit markers (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-400-001).
(5) Install the related emergency exit signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-400-001).
(6) Install the related slide arm indicator-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-400-802).
(7) Do the special precautions after work on the offwing escape-slide systems (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-081-001).
(8) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
