Subtask 24-92-00-941-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
   (4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 24-92-00-010-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the upper forward pylon.
   (2) Remove these access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
Subtask 24-92-00-010-080-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the upper forward pylon.
   (2) Remove these access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
4. Procedure
Subtask 24-92-00-220-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Inspection of All the Wiring Installed in the Upper Forward Pylon
   (1) Make sure that there is no hydraulic or fuel contamination.
NOTE: This inspection is necessary to prevent contamination of the wiring routes immediately adjacent to the fuel and hydraulic areas.
   (2) Do a detailed inspection of the wiring to make sure that there are no signs of ageing, deterioration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052120.
NOTE: For information:
NOTE: Use a FLASHLIGHT or a MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE if necessary.
5. Close-up
Subtask 24-92-00-410-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install these access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 24-92-00-410-080-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install these access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
