A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) in zone 410 for the left pylon,
(b) in zone 420 for the right pylon.
(2) Remove these access doors :
(a) For the left pylon: 413DL.
(b) For the right pylon: 423DL.
Subtask 54-52-11-010-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) in zone 410 for the left pylon,
(b) in zone 420 for the right pylon.
(2) Remove these access doors :
(a) For the left pylon: 413DL.
(b) For the right pylon: 423DL.
C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) in zone 410 for the left pylon,
(b) in zone 420 for the right pylon.
(2) Remove these access doors :
(a) For the left pylon: 413DT.
(b) For the right pylon: 423DT.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) in zone 410 for the left pylon,
(b) in zone 420 for the right pylon.
(2) Remove these access doors :
(a) For the left pylon: 413DT.
(b) For the right pylon: 423DT.

(1) Open the pressure relief doors (1) and (2).
(2) Remove the spring (11).
(3) Remove the cotter pins (9) and discard them.
(4) Remove the washers (6), the pin (10) and the shims (7) and (8).
(5) Remove the nut (5), the bolt (12) and the washer (13).
(6) Remove the shims (14), (15), (3) and (4).
(7) Remove the nut (21), the bolt (17) and the washers (16) and (18).
(8) Remove the shims (19) and (20).
(9) Remove the pressure relief doors (1) and (2).

(8) Remove the shims (19) and (20).
(9) Remove the pressure relief doors (1) and (2).
B. Removal of the Arch Assembly

(1) Remove the screw (34).
(2) Remove the nut (37), the bolt (35) the washer (36) and the spacer (38).
(3) Remove the nuts (33), the bolts (31) and the spacers (32).
(4) Remove the arch assembly (39).
