(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

A. General Visual Inspection (GVI) of the Left Thrust Reverser Thermal Insulation Blankets
(1) Examine the insulation thermal blankets on the inner fixed structure for loose or missing retainers. If you find loose or missing retainers, tighten or replace them.
(2) Examine the thermal insulation blankets for burns, bulges, heat discoloration, tears or other damage. If you find damage, replace the part (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-000-803) and (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-803).

B. General Visual Inspection (GVI) of the Right Thrust Reverser Thermal Insulation Blankets
(1) Examine the insulation thermal blankets on the inner fixed structure for loose or missing retainers. If you find loose or missing retainers, tighten or replace them.
(2) Examine the thermal insulation blankets for burns, bulges, heat discoloration, tears or other damage. If you find damage, replace the part (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-71-000-802) and (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-71-400-802).
