WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THE THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS ARE FLAT ON THE SURFACE OF THE INNER FIXED STRUCTURE. LARGE GAPS UNDER THE BLANKETS CAN MAKE THE INSULATION UNSATISFACTORY, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET THE THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS BECOME WET. FLUIDS CAN GO INTO THE VENT HOLES OF THE BLANKETS AND MAKE THE INSULATION UNSATISFACTORY.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS. IF YOU DO NOT HOLD THE BLANKETS CORRECTLY, THEY CAN FOLD BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN WEIGHT.
DO NOT STEP ON OR PUT OBJECTS ON THE BLANKETS.
DO NOT PUT THE BLANKETS ON SURFACES THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
HOLD THE BLANKETS ON THEIR THICKEST PARTS.
IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE BLANKETS CAN OCCUR.

(6) Apply anti-seize compound (Material No.PU5-0005) to the lowest 0.5 in. (12.70 mm) of threads on the bolt (10). (7) Mix the base primer (Material No.PU4-0010) with the activator (Material No.PU4-0011) and thinner (Material No.PU4-0012) . Refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
(8) Installation of the bumper pad
CAUTION:
DO NOT INSTALL MORE THAN 30 WASHERS AT EACH BUMPER POSITION ON EACH THRUST-REVERSER HALF. IF YOU INSTALL TOO MANY WASHERS, THERE IS A RISK THAT THE BOLT WILL NOT ENGAGE THE LOCKING FEATURE SUFFICIENTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE THE BOLT, THE BUMPER PAD AND THE WASHERS TO DISENGAGE FROM THE THRUST REVERSER.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PRIMER MIXTURE DOES NOT GO ON THE THREADS OF THE BOLT OR ON THE HELICOIL IN THE BOLT HOLE. IF THERE IS PRIMER MIXTURE ON THE THREADS OR ON THE HELICOIL, THE HELICOIL CAN BECOME DAMAGED DURING SUBSEQUENT REMOVAL OF THE BOLT.
