A. Installation of the CJ12R Harness
   (1) Installation of the Harness Junction Box
     (a) Remove the caps from the connectors, and set the harness in position.
     (b) Attach the harness junction box to the bracket at the 3 o'clock location on the fan frame center hub, with 2 bolts (39), the threads lightly lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) and the nuts (37) (detail H). Tighten the bolts by hand.

PRE SB 72-021

   (2) Install the CJ12R receptacle on the 6 o'clock junction box, and attach the receptacle flange with 2 bolts (27), the threads lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) , and nuts (26) (detail A). Tighten the bolts by hand.

POST SB 72-021

   (3) Install the CJ12R receptacle on the 6 o'clock junction box, and attach the receptacle flange with 2 bolts (27), the threads lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) (detail A). Tighten the bolts by hand.

END OF SB 72-021

   (4) Connect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION: CAREFULLY ALIGN THE CONNECTOR KEY WITH THE RECEPTACLE KEYWAY BEFORE YOU CONNECT THEM TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTORS.
CAUTION: DISTRIBUTE THE SLACK ALL ALONG THE CABLE. DO NOT LET THE CABLE SHEATH TOUCH THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS. DO NOT TWIST THE SHEATH BY MORE THAN 180 DEGREES.
     (a) Connect the harness to the T25 temperature sensor. Attach the receptacle flange to the fan frame center hub at the 5 o'clock location with bolt (3), threads lightly lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) (detail B). Tighten the bolt by hand.
     (b) Connect the J12 harness connector to the CJ12R receptacle in the 6 o'clock junction box, as follows:
1 Engage the connector in the related receptacle, and turn knurled coupling ring by hand until full engagement.
2 Tighten the coupling ring with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
3 Make sure that the connector is fully engaged and does not move.
4 If necessary, do the above steps again.

PRE SB CFM56-5 75-031
   (5) Connect the harness to the LPTACC valve position sensor (channel B), the HPTACC valve position sensor (channel B) and the RACC valve position sensor (channel B).
