B. Get Access

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
Subtask 73-21-24-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the right thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 73-21-24-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Installation of the T3 Probe
(1) Removal of the protection covers
(2) Install the T3 probe (1) to the diffuser case as follows:
(a) Install a new EIPC 73-21-24-01-090 GASKET (4) to the diffuser case with beeswax (Material No.P05-395) orP05-396 Paraffin wax blend (PMC 9462) .
(b) Apply Antigalling Compound (Material No.P06-054) to the threads of the three bolts (3).
P03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to the threads of the two bolts (5).
(d) Install the T3 probe (1) and bracket (2) to the diffuser case with the three bolts (3).
(e) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 70 and 60 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.68 m.daN )
in small increments and until the same torque indication holds.
(f) Install the harness (WC05) to the bracket (2) with the two bolts (5) and clamps (6).
(g) TORQUE the two bolts (6) to between 60 and 50 lbf.in (0.68 and 0.57 m.daN )
.
(h) Connect the harness (WC05) to the T3 probe (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-61-400-802)
(i) Examine the assembly for unwanted objects, damage and correct assembly.
5. Close-up(1) Removal of the protection covers
CAUTION:
REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
(a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. (2) Install the T3 probe (1) to the diffuser case as follows:
(a) Install a new EIPC 73-21-24-01-090 GASKET (4) to the diffuser case with beeswax (Material No.P05-395) or
(b) Apply Antigalling Compound (Material No.P06-054) to the threads of the three bolts (3).
NOTE: For new or refurbished bolts or nuts with baked on lubricant, do not do the wet application.
(c) Apply (d) Install the T3 probe (1) and bracket (2) to the diffuser case with the three bolts (3).
(e) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 70 and 60 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.68 m.daN )
in small increments and until the same torque indication holds. (f) Install the harness (WC05) to the bracket (2) with the two bolts (5) and clamps (6).
(g) TORQUE the two bolts (6) to between 60 and 50 lbf.in (0.68 and 0.57 m.daN )
. (h) Connect the harness (WC05) to the T3 probe (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-61-400-802)
(i) Examine the assembly for unwanted objects, damage and correct assembly.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the right thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence
