Check for Blockage of the Burner Pressure Sensor
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY CAN OCCUR.

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
Subtask 73-21-23-010-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

Subtask 73-21-23-280-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do a check for blockage of the burner pressure sensor.
(b) Remove the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-000-802).
(c) Make sure that the regulator is adjusted to 0 psi (0.00 bar) and then connect a clean and controlled AIR SOURCE - REGULATED, FILTERED, DRY to the air sense tube (AS11).
(d) Supply 100 psi (6.89 bar) to the air sense tube (AS11).
(e) If you cannot hear air flowing through the air sense tube (AS11), replace the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-802).
(f) If necessary, install the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-802).
(g) Install the burner pressure sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-801).
(2) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
5. Close-upCAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Do a check for blockage of the burner pressure sensor and air sense tube (AS11) as follows: CAUTION:
DO NOT PUT AIR PRESSURE INTO THE BURNER PRESSURE SENSOR. IF YOU PRESSURIZE THE BURNER PRESSURE SENSOR, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO IT.
(a) Remove the burner pressure sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-000-801). (b) Remove the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-000-802).
(c) Make sure that the regulator is adjusted to 0 psi (0.00 bar) and then connect a clean and controlled AIR SOURCE - REGULATED, FILTERED, DRY to the air sense tube (AS11).
(d) Supply 100 psi (6.89 bar) to the air sense tube (AS11).
(e) If you cannot hear air flowing through the air sense tube (AS11), replace the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-802).
(f) If necessary, install the air sense tube (AS11) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-802).
(g) Install the burner pressure sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-23-400-801).
(2) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence (Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-400-802).
(1) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
