C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Ground Maintenance
Subtask 73-21-23-010-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the engine air/oil heat exchanger is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-11-000-802).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the engine air/oil heat exchanger is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-11-000-802).
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 73-21-23-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Installation of the Burner Pressure Sense Tube (AS11)
(1) Removal of protection covers
(2) Apply beeswax (Material No.P05-395) to the gasket (1).
(3) Install the gasket (1) to the diffuser case.
(4) ApplyP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to the two bolts (2).
(5) Connect the sense tube (AS11) (3) to the diffuser case with the two bolts (2).
(6) TORQUE the two bolts (2) to between 110 and 90 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.02 m.daN )

(7) Installation of safety cable
(8) Install the sense tube (AS11) (3) to the bracket with the clamp (5) and bolt (4).
(9) TORQUE the bolt (4) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
.
(10) Connection of the Sense Tube (AS11)
(b) TORQUE the B-nut to between 375 and 340 lbf.in (4.24 and 3.84 m.daN )

(11) Connect the harness (W03) to the sense tube (AS11) (3) spring clip.

CAUTION:
REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
(a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. (2) Apply beeswax (Material No.P05-395) to the gasket (1).
(3) Install the gasket (1) to the diffuser case.
(4) Apply
(5) Connect the sense tube (AS11) (3) to the diffuser case with the two bolts (2).
(6) TORQUE the two bolts (2) to between 110 and 90 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (7) Installation of safety cable
WARNING:
USE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Safety the two bolts (2) with Safety Cable (Material No.P05-291) and Safety Cable Ferrule (Material No.P05-292) . (8) Install the sense tube (AS11) (3) to the bracket with the clamp (5) and bolt (4).
(9) TORQUE the bolt (4) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. (10) Connection of the Sense Tube (AS11)
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS CAUTION, YOU CAN TWIST OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUBES OR HOSES.
(a) Connect the sense tube (AS11) (3) B-nut to the burner pressure sensor. (b) TORQUE the B-nut to between 375 and 340 lbf.in (4.24 and 3.84 m.daN )
. (11) Connect the harness (W03) to the sense tube (AS11) (3) spring clip.
