   (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

   (1) Make sure that the right thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-11-03-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Fuel Flow Divider
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (1) Removal of protection covers
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
     (a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the drain plug on the fuel manifold is installed (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-03-000-801).
   (3) Install the fuel flow divider (1) on the High Pressure Turbine (HPT) case as follows:
     (a) Install the divider (1) on the three brackets with the three captive bolts.
     (b) TORQUE the three captive bolts to between 70 and 60 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.68 m.daN ) T.
     (c) Connect the fuel supply manifold (FM02) to the divider (1) fingertight.
     (d) Connect the two fuel supply manifolds (FS01) to the divider (1) fingertight.
     (e) Connect the tube (FD01) to the divider (1) fingertight.
   (4) Torquing of the manifolds and tubes
CAUTION: USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS CAUTION, YOU CAN TWIST OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUBES OR HOSES.
     (a) Torque the manifold (FM02) as follows:
       1 TORQUE the B-nut to between 750 and 675 lbf.in (8.48 and 7.63 m.daN )
T.
       2 Loosen the B-nut to zero.
       3 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 750 and 675 lbf.in (8.48 and 7.63 m.daN )
T.
NOTE: Do not loosen the B-nut.
       4 TORQUE the B-nut to between 750 and 675 lbf.in (8.48 and 7.63 m.daN )
T.
     (b) Torque the small manifold (FS01) as follows:
       1 TORQUE the B-nut to between 225 and 200 lbf.in (2.54 and 2.26 m.daN )
T.
       2 Loosen the B-nut to zero.
       3 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 225 and 200 lbf.in (2.54 and 2.26 m.daN )
T.
NOTE: Do not loosen the B-nut.
       4 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 225 and 200 lbf.in (2.54 and 2.26 m.daN )
T.
     (c) Torque the large manifold (FS01) as follows:
       1 TORQUE the B-nut to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )
T.
       2 Loosen the B-nut to zero.
       3 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )
T.
NOTE: Do not loosen the B-nut.
       4 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )
T.
     (d) Torque the tube (FD01) as follows:
       1 TORQUE the B-nut to between 375 and 340 lbf.in (4.24 and 3.84 m.daN )
T.
       2 Loosen the B-nut to zero.
       3 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 375 and 340 lbf.in (4.24 and 3.84 m.daN )
T.
NOTE: Do not loosen the B-nut.
       4 TORQUE the B-nut again to between 375 and 340 lbf.in (4.24 and 3.84 m.daN )
T.
     (e) Connect the hose with the clamp (4) to the fuel flow divider (1).
CAUTION: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE HOSE CLAMPS TOO MUCH. IF YOU TIGHTEN THEM TOO MUCH, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HOSE CLAMPS OR THE INSULATION COVERS.
       1 TORQUE the clamp (4) until tight and not more than 18 lbf.in (0.20 m.daN).
   (5) Connect the wiring harness (WC08) connector (P46) to the divider receptacle (J46) as follows:
     (a) Examine, align and engage the connector.
     (b) Push lightly inward on the connector while you tighten the coupling ring.
     (c) Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to tighten the connector against the receptacle.
     (d) While you tighten, push the connector in from side to side.
     (e) Make sure that you can feel the ratchet feature.
     (f) Tighten the connector until the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT slip on the connector ring.
   (6) Install the heat shield (2) to the manifold (FM02) with the clamp (3).
   (7) TORQUE the clamp (3) to between 18 and 15 lbf.in (0.20 and 0.17 m.daN )
T.
   (8) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.

B. Do the reactivation of the thrust reverser system after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-805).

C. Close Access
   (1) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence

D. Do this test:
   (1) Do the test No. 3 - Idle power test (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-720-811).
