A. Installation of the Sense Line between the Bleed PRV and the Pylon Interface
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
(4) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Remove the plug (7) from the port (2) of the valve (1).
(6) Clean the threads of the storage port (8) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
(9) TORQUE the plug (7) to between 0.25 and 0.2 m.daN (22.12 and 17.70 lbf.in )
.
(10) Remove the plug (10) from the port (12) on the pylon interface.
(11) Clean the threads of the storage port (11) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .

.
(15) Clean the threads of the unions (2) and (12) with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
(17) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(a) Tighten the unions manually.
(19) TORQUE the unions of the sense line (3) as follows:

(b) At the port (2) of the valve (1), to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
.
(20) Loosen the unions of the sense line (3) and do the torque procedure again.
