CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVED THE BUNG FROM THE LENS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, WATER CONDENSATION CAN STAY INSIDE THE LENS AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.

A. Make sure that switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
Subtask 33-48-12-860-055-A B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the related panel.
(3) Make sure that the applicable belly-fairing access panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-001).
Subtask 33-48-12-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the related panel.
(3) Make sure that the applicable belly-fairing access panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-001).

Subtask 33-48-12-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of Lower Beacon/Strobe Light 6LV
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Put the light assembly (2) and the seal (11) in their correct installation positions:
(a) Make sure that the seal (11) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-040 SEAL (11) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-050 SEAL (11).
(8) Install the screws (3) and (10).
(9) Tighten the screws (3) and (10) in the correct sequence.
(10) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the heads of the screws (10) and let it dry.
(12) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) to the sealant of the screws (10).
(13) Make sure that the bung (5) is removed.
(14) Remove the bung (5) to make sure that no condensed water stays in the lens (7).
(15) Put the lens (7) with the seal (8) in their correct installation positions:
(a) Make sure that the seal (8) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-030 SEAL (8) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-030 SEAL (8).
(16) Install the screws (4) and (6).
(17) Tighten the screws (4) and (6) in the correct sequence.
(18) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 33-48-12-420-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(6) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the light assembly (2). (7) Put the light assembly (2) and the seal (11) in their correct installation positions:
(a) Make sure that the seal (11) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-040 SEAL (11) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-050 SEAL (11).
(8) Install the screws (3) and (10).
(9) Tighten the screws (3) and (10) in the correct sequence.
(10) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the heads of the screws (10) and let it dry.
(12) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) to the sealant of the screws (10).
(13) Make sure that the bung (5) is removed.
(14) Remove the bung (5) to make sure that no condensed water stays in the lens (7).
(15) Put the lens (7) with the seal (8) in their correct installation positions:
(a) Make sure that the seal (8) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-030 SEAL (8) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-030 SEAL (8).
(16) Install the screws (4) and (6).
(17) Tighten the screws (4) and (6) in the correct sequence.
(18) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
A. Installation of the Lower Anti-Collision (Beacon) Light
(1) Remove the tape from the related lower anti-collision (beacon) light.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(5) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Install the screws (4) and (9).
(9) Tighten the screws (4) and (9) in the sequence that is given in the figure.
(10) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the heads of the screws (4) and let it dry.
(12) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) on the heads of the screws (4) that is used to do the electrical bonding.
(13) Make sure that the bung (7) is removed to prevent the water that causes blockage, because of condensation in the lens (2).
(14) Install the seal (3) as follows:
(a) Make sure that the seal (3) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-030 SEAL (3) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-030 SEAL (3).
(15) Put the lens (2) on the fuselage.
(16) Install the screws (1) and (8).
(17) Tighten the screws (1) and (8) in the sequence that is given in the figure.
(18) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 33-48-12-865-053-A (1) Remove the tape from the related lower anti-collision (beacon) light.

(7) Connect the electrical connector (6) to the LED module (5). (8) Install the screws (4) and (9).
(9) Tighten the screws (4) and (9) in the sequence that is given in the figure.
(10) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the heads of the screws (4) and let it dry.
(12) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) on the heads of the screws (4) that is used to do the electrical bonding.
(13) Make sure that the bung (7) is removed to prevent the water that causes blockage, because of condensation in the lens (2).
(14) Install the seal (3) as follows:
(a) Make sure that the seal (3) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-030 SEAL (3) or AIPC 33-48-12-02-030 SEAL (3).
(15) Put the lens (2) on the fuselage.
(16) Install the screws (1) and (8).
(17) Tighten the screws (1) and (8) in the sequence that is given in the figure.
(18) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the lower beacon/strobe light (6LV) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Install the applicable belly-fairing access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-001).
(2) Remove the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT).

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
