NOTE: The removal procedure for one panel is given. The procedure is almost the same for all panels.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-35-13-010-050-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.
   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap/slat control lever to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
   (3) If necessary, open the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable access panel.
   (5) Install the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) safety device (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-860-007).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-35-13-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of Access Panels 147AB, 147BB, 147EB, 147FB, 148FB, 191GB, 191JB, 195CB, 197AB, 197GB, 198BB and 198GB
NOTE: It is necessary to record the location of each fastener and each bonding point during the removal procedure. This will make the installation procedure easier.
   (1) Hold the panel (3) and remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
   (2) Record the position of the screws (1).
NOTE: This will make the installation procedure easier.
   (3) For access panel 191JB:
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector from anti-collision light 6LV (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-12-000-001).
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Remove the bonding strap from anti-collision light 6LV.
   (4) Remove the panel (3).
   (5) Record the location of the bonding points on the removed panel (3).
NOTE: The bonding points have a rough surface, no protection, and a diameter of 20 mm (0.7874 in.).
Subtask 53-35-13-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of Access Panels 147AB, 147BB, 147EB, 147FB, 148FB, 191GB, 191JB, 195CB, 197AB, 197GB, 198BB, 198MB, 826CR and 826DR
   (1) Hold the panel (3) and remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
   (2) Record the position of the screws (1).
NOTE: This will make the installation procedure easier.
   (3) For access panel 191JB:
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector from anti-collision light 6LV (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-12-000-001).
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Remove the bonding strap from anti-collision light 6LV.
   (4) Remove the panel (3).
   (5) Record the location of the bonding points on the removed panel (3).
