4. Procedure
Subtask 33-48-12-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Lower Anti-Collision (Beacon) Light
   (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (2) Remove the screws (1) and (8) from the lens (2).
   (3) Remove the lens (2) and the seal (3).
   (4) Remove the screws (4) and (9) from the LED module (5).
   (5) Lower the LED module (5) until you can see the electrical connector (6).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (6) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the LED module (5).
   (7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (8) Remove the LED module (5).
   (9) Clean the surfaces of the fuselage around the lower anti-collision (beacon) light with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with warm soap solution.
   (10) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and dry the surfaces around the lower anti-collision (beacon) light.
   (11) Record the temporary repair of the lower anti-collision (beacon) light in the aircraft logbook.
   (12) Keep circuit breaker 5LV open, safetied and tagged.
