A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the procedure of the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
   (3) Get access to the L/G page on the MCDU (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-009).

A. Do this test.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the overhead panel 25VU:
On the Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer (THS):
  • set the NAV/LOGO control switch 3LA to the '2' position.
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY come on.
2.In the cockpit, on the MCDU:
On the MCDU:
  • push the LGCIU2 line select key.
  • the LGCIU2 MENU page comes on.
  • push the NEXT PAGE pushbutton
  • the LANDING GEAR SIMULATION page comes on.
  • push the LANDING GEAR SIMULATION line select key.
  • the LANDING GEAR SIMULATION menu comes on.
  • push the LH+RH line select key.
  • the LH+RH menu page comes on.
  • push the EXTENDED line select key.
On the THS:
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY go off.
3.Put the slat/flap control lever to position '2' to extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008)
On the THS:
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY come on.
4.On the overhead panel 25VU:
On the THS:
  • set the NAV/LOGO control switch 3LA to the '1' position.
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY remain on.
5.Put the slat/flap control lever to position '0' to retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009)
On the THS:
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY go off.
6.In the cockpit, on the MCDU:
  • push the RETURN line select key, until the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST menu page comes on.
On the THS:
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY come on.
7.On the overhead panel 25VU:
On the THS:
  • set the NAV/LOGO control switch 3LA to the OFF position.
  • the logo lights 3LY and 4LY go off.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, put the BRT switch to OFF.
   (2) Do the procedure of ground configuration after flight configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
   (3) De- energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
