B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

C. Prepare the media disk(s).
(1) Get the media disk(s) from the storage box in the cockpit.
Make sure that the media disk(s) is(are) the correct one(s) for the aircraft configuration.
(a) Make sure that the Part Number (P/N) written on the media disk(s) is the same as the P/N written in the airline configuration-management document.
1 If the media disk(s) is (are) not available or not the correct one(s), contact your Airline Engineering Department to get the correct part number(s) applicable to the aircraft.
Subtask 31-60-00-960-056-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Get the media disk(s) from the storage box in the cockpit.
Make sure that the media disk(s) is(are) the correct one(s) for the aircraft configuration.
(a) Make sure that the Part Number (P/N) written on the media disk(s) is the same as the P/N written in the airline configuration-management document.

C. Prepare the software.
(1) Get the Display Management Computer (DMC) software.
(2) Make sure that the Part Number (P/N) of the DMC software is the same as the P/N given in the airline configuration-management document.
(a) If the DMC software with the correct P/N is not available, contact the Airline Engineering Department to get the applicable DMC software.
Subtask 31-60-00-865-085-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Get the Display Management Computer (DMC) software.
(2) Make sure that the Part Number (P/N) of the DMC software is the same as the P/N given in the airline configuration-management document.

(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC1 operational software given on the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page is different from the P/N of the DMC1 operational software written on the media disk(s).

(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software given on the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page is different from the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software in the airline configuration-management document.
4. Procedure(1) Do a check of the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-011).
(a) On the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page, read the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software.
(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software given on the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page is different from the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software in the airline configuration-management document.

B. Check of the Part Number (P/N) of the Operational Software Uploaded in DMC1
(1) Do a check of the P/N of the DMC1 operational software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-011).
(a) On the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page, read the P/N of the DMC1 operational software.
(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC1 operational software is the same as the P/N of the DMC1 operational software written on the media disk(s).
Subtask 31-60-00-280-070-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a check of the P/N of the DMC1 operational software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-011).
(a) On the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page, read the P/N of the DMC1 operational software.

B. Check of the P/N of the DMC 1 Operational Software

(a) On the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page, read the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software.
(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software is the same as the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software in the airline configuration-management document.
Subtask 31-60-00-280-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a check of the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-011).
(a) On the DMC1 LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page, read the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software.
(b) Make sure that the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software is the same as the P/N of the DMC 1 operational software in the airline configuration-management document.
C. Check of the Part Number (P/N) of the DMC1 Operational Software in the Equipment Configuration Report
(1) On the MCDU MENU page, push the line select key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
(2) On the MAINTENANCE MENU page, push the line select key adjacent to the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS indication.
(3) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the START indication.
(4) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the EQUIPMENT CONFIG REPORTS indication.
(5) If the printer is on, push the PRINT key.
(6) If the printer is not on, on the EQUIPMENT CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the ATA316334 DMC1 indication.
(7) On the EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION REPORT/ATA316334 DMC1 page, make sure that the correct software (software DB/N1) component is uploaded.
(8) Push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE 1/2 page comes into view.
5. Close-up(1) On the MCDU MENU page, push the line select key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
(2) On the MAINTENANCE MENU page, push the line select key adjacent to the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS indication.
(3) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the START indication.
(4) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the EQUIPMENT CONFIG REPORTS indication.
(5) If the printer is on, push the PRINT key.
(6) If the printer is not on, on the EQUIPMENT CONFIG REPORTS page, push the line select key adjacent to the ATA316334 DMC1 indication.
(7) On the EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION REPORT/ATA316334 DMC1 page, make sure that the correct software (software DB/N1) component is uploaded.
(8) Push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE 1/2 page comes into view.
Subtask 31-60-00-860-126-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU:
(3) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
Subtask 31-60-00-860-126-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the MCDU:
- Push the MCDU MENU key to get the MCDU MENU page.
- Set the BRT knob to OFF.
(3) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU):
(a) Push the MCDU MENU key to get the MCDU MENU page.
(b) Set the BRT knob to the OFF position.
(2) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
Subtask 31-60-00-862-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU):
(a) Push the MCDU MENU key to get the MCDU MENU page.
(b) Set the BRT knob to the OFF position.
(2) Do the EIS stop procedure
