C. Installation of the Portable Data Loader (PDL)
(1) On the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) On the overhead panel, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the access cover from data loading panel 52VU.
(3) Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector (2TD).
Subtask 31-38-00-480-052-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) On the overhead panel, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the access cover from data loading panel 52VU.
(3) Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector (2TD).
C. Installation of the Portable Data Loader (PDL)
(1) On the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) On the center pedestal, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the access cover from data loading panel 117VU.
(3) Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector (2147VC).
Subtask 31-38-00-480-052-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) On the center pedestal, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the access cover from data loading panel 117VU.
(3) Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector (2147VC).
C. Installation of the Portable Data Loader (PDL)
(1) On the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) Open circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2).
(3) On the overhead panel, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the FMS LOAD blanking plate 52VU
(4) Connect the cable to the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector SYST1(2).
Subtask 31-38-00-480-052-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) Open circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2).
(3) On the overhead panel, loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove the FMS LOAD blanking plate 52VU
(4) Connect the cable to the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector SYST1(2).
C. Installation of the Portable Data Loader (PDL)
(1) On the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
(2) On the center pedestal, on DATA LOADING panel 117VU:

(2) On the center pedestal, on DATA LOADING panel 117VU:
- Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the data loader connector on the front face of the DLSU (103TD).

(1) Close circuit breakers 11CA1(11CA2).
(2) On the portable data loader, set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

A. Uploading of the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) software with the PDL
Subtask 31-38-00-970-079-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: If the PDL has the digital signature check, it can give two messages:
- One message, if the PDL detects that the software has no signature. You can ignore this message because it has no effect on aircraft software uploading, or
- One message, if the PDL detects an incorrect or corrupted signature. Then, the software uploading will not be possible and you must use a different software.
For data security, Airbus recommends that you make a report of the fault to the Aircraft Security Focal-Point.

B. End of the Uploading Procedure
(1) Stop the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER (refer to the PDL user guide).
(2) Remove the PDL:
(a) On the overhead panel, on data loading panel 52VU:
1 Disconnect the PDL cable from the PDL and from the data loader connector (2TD).
2 Install the access cover of data loading panel 52VU and tighten the two middle quick-release fasteners.
Subtask 31-38-00-080-069-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Stop the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER (refer to the PDL user guide).
(2) Remove the PDL:
(a) On the overhead panel, on data loading panel 52VU:
1 Disconnect the PDL cable from the PDL and from the data loader connector (2TD).
2 Install the access cover of data loading panel 52VU and tighten the two middle quick-release fasteners.
B. End of the Uploading Procedure
(1) Stop the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER (refer to the PDL user guide).
(2) Remove the PDL:
(a) On the overhead panel, on data loading panel 117VU:
1 Disconnect the PDL cable from the PDL and from the data loader connector (2147VC).
2 Install the access cover of data loading panel 117VU and tighten the two middle quick-release fasteners.
Subtask 31-38-00-080-069-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Stop the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER (refer to the PDL user guide).
(2) Remove the PDL:
(a) On the overhead panel, on data loading panel 117VU:
1 Disconnect the PDL cable from the PDL and from the data loader connector (2147VC).
2 Install the access cover of data loading panel 117VU and tighten the two middle quick-release fasteners.
B. End of the Uploading Procedure
(1) On the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(2) Open circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2).
(3) Disconnect the PDL connecting cable.
(4) On the overhead panel install the FMS LOAD blanking plate.
(5) Close circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2) and wait for 1 minute
Subtask 31-38-00-080-069-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the YV68A110 PORTABLE DATA LOADER, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(2) Open circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2).
(3) Disconnect the PDL connecting cable.
(4) On the overhead panel install the FMS LOAD blanking plate.
(5) Close circuit breakers 10CA1(10CA2) and 11CA1(11CA2) and wait for 1 minute
B. End of the Uploading Procedure
(1) Stop the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER (Refer to PDL user guide).
(2) On the center pedestal, on Data Loading panel 117VU:

(2) On the center pedestal, on Data Loading panel 117VU:
- Disconnect the PDL cable from the PDL and from the front face of the DLSU (103TD)
