A. LRU Identification Check of the EIS Components
ACTION
RESULT
On the MCDU:
  • push the line key adjacent to the EIS1 (EIS2) indication
On the MCDU:
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) main menu page comes into view.
    On CAPT PFD, CAPT ND, upper and lower ECAM DUs:
  • the green MAINTENANCE MODE indication comes into view.
  • push the line key adjacent to the LRU IDENT indication
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) LRU IDENTIFICATION 1/5 page comes into view with the P/N of the DMC1 and DMC2 (the LRU IDENTIFICATION page gives the hardware and software P/Ns for each EIS component).
  • record the P/N then push the down arrow key to get the subsequent pages
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) LRU IDENTIFICATION 2/5 page comes into view with the P/Ns of the DMC3 and the DU PFD CAPT
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) LRU IDENTIFICATION 3/5 page comes into view with the P/Ns of the DU ND CAPT and the DU PFD F/O
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) LRU IDENTIFICATION 4/5 page comes into view with the P/Ns of the DU ND F/O and the DU EWD
  • the DMC1 (DMC2) LRU IDENTIFICATION 5/5 page comes into view with the P/Ns of the DU SD
  • push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication

Subtask 31-60-00-860-096-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE MENU 1/2 page comes into view.
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
