A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001), then:
(a) On the ECAM control panel (CP), push the FUEL pushbutton switch (P/BSW).
(b) Make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower display-unit (DU).
(c) On the ECAM CP, push the STS P/BSW.
(d) Make sure that the STATUS page shows on the ECAM lower DU.
(e) Make sure that there are no FUEL messages under MAINTENANCE.
Subtask 28-42-00-650-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).

(2) Set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches of the IR1, IR2 and IR3 on the cockpit overhead panel to OFF.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
