A. Visual Inspection
(1) At the passenger/crew doors and in the aft cargo-compartment, examine the pressure gage (3) of the inflation reservoirs.
Use an MIRROR - INSPECTION to see the pressure gage (3).
(2) Make sure that the pressure gage (3) shows the correct pressure.
1 Let temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure gage (3) again.
2 If the pressure gage (3) continues to show an indication in AREA B or below AREA B, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly and/or the inflation reservoir (2):
a At the doors, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly:
Subtask 25-62-00-210-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) At the passenger/crew doors and in the aft cargo-compartment, examine the pressure gage (3) of the inflation reservoirs.
NOTE: You can see the pressure gage (3) through the inspection window in the decorative-cover (1).
(a) FOR [7506MM] (RESERVOIR ASSY OWS L)Use an MIRROR - INSPECTION to see the pressure gage (3).
(2) Make sure that the pressure gage (3) shows the correct pressure.
NOTE: There are two different types of pressure gage (3) (MODEL A and MODEL B). MODEL A has a green cursor which is temperature sensitive. MODEL B has a needle with an internal mechanism, which is temperature sensitive. They can give incorrect pressure indications when there are sudden temperature changes from a cold to a warm environment. This usually occurs after a longer flight and when the aircraft door is opened in a warm environment. The cursor/needle moves to changes in temperature faster or slower than the gas pressure in the inflation reservoir can adapt.
(a) The indications for MODEL A are as follows: - The needle in AREA A (green cursor width) shows that the pressure level is correct.
- The needle in AREA B, which is half the range of AREA A, shows a pressure level that can be accepted if sudden temperature changes occurred in the last 60 minutes.
- The GREEN BAND shows a correct pressure level.
- AREA B, which has a range equal to AREA A, shows a pressure level that can be accepted if sudden temperature changes occurred in the last 60 minutes.
- Remove the escape-slide pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-802) or the escape-slide raft pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-000-012).
- Install a new escape-slide pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-006) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-802) or a new escape-slide raft pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-007).
- Remove the inflation reservoir (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-46-000-001).
- Install a new inflation reservoir (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-46-400-001).
A. Visual Inspection
(1) Examine the pressure gages (8):
(a) At the door escape-slides/escape-slide rafts.
1 Let the temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure gage (8) again.
2 If the pressure gage (8) continues to show an indication in AREA B or below AREA B, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly and/or the inflation reservoir (4):
a At the doors, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly:
Subtask 25-62-00-210-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the pressure gages (8):
(a) At the door escape-slides/escape-slide rafts.
NOTE: You can see the pressure gage (8) through the inspection window in the decorative-cover (1).
(b) And at one of the two applicable locations: - Through the inspection window (2) in the cover (3)
- Through the opening in the lining (6).
NOTE: There are two different types of pressure gage (8) (MODEL A and MODEL B). MODEL A has a green cursor which is temperature sensitive. MODEL B has a needle with an internal mechanism, which is temperature sensitive. They can give temporary low pressure indications when there are sudden temperature changes from a cold to a warm environment. This usually occurs after a longer flight and when the aircraft door is opened in a warm environment. The cursor/needle moves to changes in temperature faster than the gas pressure in the inflation reservoir can adapt.

- Remove the inflation reservoir (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-49-000-001).
- Install a new inflation reservoir (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-49-400-001).
A. Visual Inspection
(1) Examine the pressure gage (6) of the inflation reservoirs:
1 Let the temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure gage (6) again.
2 If the pressure gage (6) continues to show an indication in AREA B or below AREA B, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly and/or the inflation reservoirs (4) and (5):
a At the passenger doors, replace the escape-slide/escape-slide raft pack-assembly:
5. Close-up(1) Examine the pressure gage (6) of the inflation reservoirs:
- At the passenger doors at the decorative covers (1)
- In the overhead stowage compartments at the panel (2).
NOTE: You can see the pressure gages (6) in the cabin through the inspection windows (3).
(2) Make sure that the pressure gage (6) shows the correct pressure. NOTE: The pressure gage (6) has a needle with an internal mechanism which is temperature sensitive. It can give incorrect pressure indications when there are sudden temperature changes from a cold to a warm environment.
